Thermal management

Finishing
All Ligman products go through an extensive nishing process that includes fettling to improve paint adherence.
Paint UV Stabilized 4.9Mil thick powder coat paint and baked at 200 Deg C. This process ensures that Ligman products can withstand harsh environments. Rated for use in natatoriums.
Inspired by Nature Finishes
The Inspired by nature Finishing is a unique system of decorative powder coating. Our metal decoration process can easily transform the appearance of metal or aluminum product into a wood grain nish.
This patented technology enables the simulation of wood grain, and even marble or granite nish through the use of decorative powder coating.
The wood grain nish is so realistic that it’s almost undistinguishable from real wood, even from a close visual inspection. The system of coating permeates the entire thickness of the coat and as a result, the coating cannot be removed by normal rubbing, chipping, or scratching.
The Coating Process
After pre-treatment the prepared parts are powder coated with a specially formulated polyurethane powder. This powder provides protection against wear, abrasion, impact and corrosion and acts as the relief base color for the nalized metal decoration.
The component is then wrapped with a sheet of non-porous lm with the selected decoration pattern printed on it using special high temperature inks.
This printed lm transfer is vacuum-sealed to the surface for a complete thermo print and then transferred into a customized oven. The oven transforms the ink into di erent forms within the paint layer before it becomes solid. Finally, the lm is removed, and a vivid timber look on aluminum remains.
Wood grain coating can create beautiful wood-looking products of any sort. There are over 300 combinations of designs currently in use. Wood grains can be made with di erent colors, designs, etc.

This patented technology enables the simulation of wood grain, and even marble or granite finish through the use of decorative powder coating.
The wood grain finish is so realistic that it’s almost undistinguishable from real wood, even from a close visual inspection. The system of coating permeates the entire thickness of the coat and as a result, the coating cannot be removed by normal rubbing, chipping, or scratching.
The Coating Process
After pre-treatment the prepared parts are powder coated with a specially formulated polyurethane powder. This powder provides protection against wear, abrasion, impact and corrosion and acts as the relief base color for the finalized metal decoration.
The component is then wrapped with a sheet of non-porous film with the selected decoration pattern printed on it using special high temperature inks.
This printed film transfer is vacuum-sealed to the surface for a complete thermo print and then transferred into a customized oven. The oven transforms the ink into different forms within the paint layer before it becomes solid. Finally, the film is removed, and a vivid timber look on aluminum remains.

Construction: Trims are constructed of heat dissipating, die-cast aluminum. Aluminum die-cast LED module is threaded to fit the trim and transfer heat.
Air Flow Restriction: Luminaire has factory installed gasket to restrict airflow from room into ceiling plenum to <2CFM (cubic feet per minute) in accordance with ASTM-283 Air-Tight requirements.

SPECIFICATION
Extrusion: 0.030 die cast aluminum construction with 0.045 PVC insulators holding 12-gauge flat conductor wiring. Polarity groove is located on face of track to indicate location of grounding conductor.
Polarity Groove: Each track section includes a groove on the surface of the extrusion. This groove must be continous throughout the track run. Track heads also have a polarity groove, which must coincide with the track’s polarity groove.
Mounting: The track may be surface, stem, or cable mounted. All lengths of track can be field cut. Surface mounting hardware included with each track section.
Compatibility: Nora track system is compatible with Halo, Catalina, Hampton Bay, Halo-Edison, or any other brand configured to Halo 3-wire track configuration.

Low profile, extruded aluminum track with 20-Amp rated flat, solid integral conductors. Variety of connectors and accessory parts available.
NOTE: Nora Track is not approved for use with remote transformers. Low voltage fixtures require a transformer for each fixture, can be purchased as a separate item or a fixture with transformer included.
SPECIFICATION
Extrusion: 0.030 die cast aluminum construction with 0.045 PVC insulators holding 12-gauge flat conductor wiring. Polarity groove is located on face of track to indicate location of grounding conductor.
Polarity Groove: Each track section includes a groove on the surface of the extrusion. This groove must be continous throughout the track run. Track heads also have a polarity groove, which must coincide with the track’s polarity groove.
Mounting: The track may be surface, stem, or cable mounted. All lengths of track can be field cut. Surface mounting hardware included with each track section.
Compatibility: Nora track system is compatible with Halo, Catalina, Hampton Bay, Halo-Edison, or any other brand configured to Halo 3-wire track configuration.
NOTE: Wands and monopoint canopies are generally not compatible with other manufacturers.

Dimming: Nora track may be dimmed with any approved incandescent, magnetic low voltage, or electronic low voltage controls, depending on the track fixtures being used. Do not attempt to use 3-way or multi-phase neutral if dimming.

Part of the Tubular family of LED luminaires, the BSS501 is an arm mounted model ideally suited for wall wash and stack lighting. Slender aluminum arms project the Ø1-3/8” extruded aluminum housing from a wall or ceiling, while machined aluminum couplers allow a generous range of rotation for flexible aiming. The BSS501 is fitted with 90+ CRI LEDs and is available with a Lambertian or asymmetric lens optic.
