CONSTRUCTION — One-piece 5VA fiberglass housing with integral perimeter channel utilizing continuous poured-in-place NEMA 4X gasket. Approved for through wiring. Captive polymeric latches are standard. Stainless steel latches (316SS) available as an option for food processing or more demanding applications. Power connection is easily accomplished through pre-drilled holes.
OPTICS — Injection molded, acrylic lens (.080" thick) provides high impact-resistance comparable to 100% DR. A UV stabilized polycarbonate diffuser is available (.080" thick) in clear or frosted for additional impact strength where vandal protection is desired.
Expected service life of 60,000 hours at 80% lumen maintenance (L80); predicted life of more than 100,000 hours.
ELECTRICAL — Utilizes high-efficiency LEDs mounted to core circuit boards. High-efficiency drivers operate 120-277 (MVOLT) and 347-480 (HVOLT) offered with 0-10 volt dimming, dims to 10%. Standard Luminaire Surge Protection Level: 6kV/3kA Surge Rated per ANSI C82.77-5-2015.
INSTALLATION — A pair of stainless steel (316SS) surface mount brackets (SMB) are included (unless another mounting option is chosen) allowing for surface (ceiling) or suspension mount applications using included bail with aircraft cable or chain. Optional pair of dual pendant mount brackets (DPMB) (316SS) are available for surface (ceiling) or suspension mount applications using either 3/8" threaded rod or included bail with aircraft cable or chain. INTENDED USE — A general purpose and energy-efficient surface-mounted or suspended LED fixture, suitable for wet, damp and/or cold locations. For vapor-tight demanding environments where moisture or dust is a concern and where relatively low fixture mounting heights and wide fixture spacing are common. Not for use or installation in direct outdoor sunlight. Must be installed under canopy or covered ceiling. For direct sunlight installations, please refer to the FEX product family. Typical applications include industrial facilities, parking garages, retail malls, multi-purpose rooms, garden centers, and food processing. Certain airborne contaminants may adversely affect the functioning of LEDs and other electronic components, depending on various factors such as concentrations of the contaminants, ventilation, and temperature at the end-user location. CONSTRUCTION — One-piece 5VA fiberglass housing with integral perimeter channel utilizing continuous poured-in-place NEMA 4X gasket. Approved for through wiring. Captive polymeric latches are standard. Stainless steel latches (316SS) available as an option for food processing or more demanding applications. Power connection is easily accomplished through pre-drilled holes.
OPTICS — Injection molded, acrylic lens (.080" thick) provides high impact-resistance comparable to 100% DR. A UV stabilized polycarbonate diffuser is available (.080" thick) in clear or frosted for additional impact strength where vandal protection is desired.
Expected service life of 60,000 hours at 80% lumen maintenance (L80); predicted life of more than 100,000 hours.
ELECTRICAL — Utilizes high-efficiency LEDs mounted to core circuit boards. High-efficiency drivers operate 120-277 (MVOLT) and 347-480 (HVOLT) offered with 0-10 volt dimming, dims to 10%. Standard Luminaire Surge Protection Level: 6kV/3kA Surge Rated per ANSI C82.77-5-2015.
INSTALLATION — A pair of stainless steel (316SS) surface mount brackets (SMB) are included (unless another mounting option is chosen) allowing for surface (ceiling) or suspension mount applications using included bail with aircraft cable or chain. Optional pair of dual pendant mount brackets (DPMB) (316SS) are available for surface (ceiling) or suspension mount applications using either 3/8" threaded rod or included bail with aircraft cable or chain. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Architectural acrylic edge-lit sign for applications requiring low-profile, yet decorative appearance. Uses included, but are not limited to museums, galleries, office building lobbies, etc. Incorporates 25+ year LED source. Letters available in either green or red color.

BODY
Two piece snap-together extruded aluminum housing holds battery, LED and acrylic panel.
FACE
Edge-lit Exit is available in either single or double face. Face is constructed with 0.40 clear acrylic with rounded and finished edge for attractive appearance. Face contains 8" high and 3/4" thick red lettering inside face to comply with NY/ ETL/NFPA requirements. Reflective stick-on chevrons provided and are applied to rear of panel in order for light to reflect off the inner face of the chevron tape to provide a similiar effect as the lettering embedded inside the acrylic. Face can be adjusted in the field from 0° to 90°for wall, ceiling or sloped applications.

EMERGENCY
During loss of power, NiCad battery will operate LED exit sign for 90 minutes. Battery requires 24 hours to recharge when power is restored.

BROWNOUT CIRCUIT
Brownout circuit monitors the flow of AC current to the unit and triggers the exit light once a set reduction of AC power occurs. This dip in the voltage will cause many fixtures to extinguish causing loss of normal lighting even though a total power failure has not occurred.
SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION
Overload monitoring system is a solid-state circuit which monitors the load and disconnects from the battery should an overload or short circuit occur. The overload current protection eliminates the need for fuses or circuit breakers for the DC load.
TESTING
Luminaire includes manual test button for manual verification the transfer circuit and battery operate correctly. Luminaire also performs self-tests and diagnostics on battery, charging board, transfer circuit, and exit sign. If a failure is detected, an indicator LED will blink red until fault is corrected. A solid green indicator LED indicates no faults and blinked green indicates a test is in progress.
COLD WEATHER OPTION
Exit sign can be used in cold weather locations with heating pad accessory, must specify -CC suffix. When exit sign reaches a low temperature a heating pad will keep the battery within operating temperature, allowing the exit sign to work in temperatures down to -25°C.

SPECIFICATION
Construction: Trims are constructed of heat dissipating, die-cast aluminum. Aluminum die-cast LED module is threaded to fit the trim and transfer heat.
Air Flow Restriction: Luminaire has factory installed gasket to restrict airflow from room into ceiling plenum to <2CFM (cubic feet per minute) in accordance with ASTM-283 Air-Tight requirements.
Clearance: IC rated luminaires are rated for direct contact with insulation (not spray foam insulation), no minimum clearance is required.
Driver Box: Prewired junction box includes 7" quick connect wire to LED module for ease of installation. Junction box includes two 1/2" trade size knockouts and snap on cover.

Iolite luminaires include spot, narrow flood and flood optics. Optics can be changed in the field by removing LED module from die-cast trim. Optional frosted and TIR optics are also available.
