BROWNOUT CIRCUIT
Brownout circuit monitors the flow of AC current to the unit and triggers the exit light once a set reduction of AC power occurs. This dip in the voltage will cause many fixtures to extinguish causing loss of normal lighting even though a total power failure has not occurred.
SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION
Overload monitoring system is a solid-state circuit which monitors the load and disconnects from the battery should an overload or short circuit occur. The overload current protection eliminates the need for fuses or circuit breakers for the DC load.
TESTING
Luminaire includes manual test button for manual verification the transfer circuit and battery operate correctly. Luminaire also performs self-tests and diagnostics on battery, charging board, transfer circuit, and exit sign. If a failure is detected, an indicator LED will blink red until fault is corrected. A solid green indicator LED indicates no faults and blinked green indicates a test is in progress.
COLD WEATHER OPTION
Exit sign can be used in cold weather locations with heating pad accessory, must specify -CC suffix. When exit sign reaches a low temperature a heating pad will keep the battery within operating temperature, allowing the exit sign to work in temperatures down to -25°C.

Heavy duty galvanized steel frame with a large access junction box. ETL listed for through wiring. LED light engine and driver are accessible from above or below ceiling.
INSTALLATION
The luminaire is type Non-IC. Insulation must be kept at a minimum of 3” away from fixture. Universal mounting brackets included. Compatible with C-channel, flat bar, wood joist bar hanger and EMT. Bar hangers must be ordered separately. C-channel is recommended for T-bar ceilings. Maximum ceiling thickness is 1 1/4”.
END-OF-LIFE INDICATOR
Optional end-of-life indicator helps the end user to receive a signal from the fixture indicating that it has reached its programmed life-time. After the LED driver reaches the programmed life-time, whenever it is turned ON, it stays at ‘Dim’ level (10%) for 10 minutes and then reaches its appropriate level.

Construction: Trims are constructed of heat dissipating, die-cast aluminum. The aluminum die-cast LED heat sink is threaded to fit the trim and transfer heat.

The Anyx ARV13 LED fixtures build on the highly successful Anyx line. The Anyx ARV13 series features a durable, color-impregnated polycarbonate housing supported by a marine grade, die cast aluminum base plate to provide a lighting fixture that will survive in the harshest environments. The Anyx 13 series has been installed successfully in large scale projects such as dorm rooms, behavioral health facilities, transportation stations and public schools.
One piece injection molded UV stabilized polycarbonate mechanically interlocked to base plate and sealed against moisture and contaminants with two high temperature silicone O-rings. Color is molded through entire part for scratch resistant finish. Locked in place with one concealed tamper resistant set screw.
One piece injection molded prismatic polycarbonate with minimum 0.130" wall thickness. Secured to base plate by trim and sealed with two high temperature silicone O-rings.
Reflector Heavy gauge formed aluminum primed and finished with electrostatically applied power coat.
Base Plate Pressure die cast marine grade aluminum. Chemically primed and finished with electrostatically applied polyester powder coat.
Gaskets
Closed cell die cut neoprene gasket provided between fixture mounting plate and mounting surface. High temperature silicone O-ring between the trim and lens, between the lens and base plate, and between the mounting plate and base plate.
