GENERAL MANAGERupdate

May and beautiful weather have finally arrived here in Northeast Ohio! May is going to be an exciting month as it brings with it the Grand Opening of the Driving Range and Short Game area, it officially kicks off the 2024 Tournament Season, and the newly renovated pool is scheduled to open Memorial Day weekend! We are excited for all that May brings, and we hope that you are as well. We are also excited to welcome back our seasonal Partners back for the 2024 season. Our World-Class Partners are a huge part of what makes our Club special, and I know they are eager to get back to MCC for the Summer.

The Union Performance Centre and the Palmer Room are still as busy as ever, and we hope that all of our Members are enjoying the great benefits and amenities the state-of-the-art facility has to offer. With the arrival of Spring, please be sure to take advantage of the new “Swing into Spring” simulator rates! You will also notice tremendous progress will be made this month on the outdoor bar and patio; we are very excited for it to open! You may notice that we have purchased Slushy machines for the Clubhouse & UPC, please be sure to check them out! We will have great drink options and specials this month.

2023 & and the start of 2024 have been great for welcoming new Members to our great Club, and we look for that to continue with the Medina Power Referral program. If you have family or friends that are interested in joining, the Medina Power Referral program offers great incentives for all new and current Members. For more information on the program, please reach out to myself or Rob Jersan! We would be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

We would like to introduce you to our new pin flags here at Medina Country Club! Due to our great terrain, it sometimes makes it challenging to determine pin placement on our greens. To remedy this, we wanted to introduce a flag color system!

The colors are as follows: Yellow: Front White: Middle Purple: Back

FOOD & BEVERAGE update

Happy May Members!

May is finally here, and it looks as if the soaking wet April had made way for some amazing weather in May. The Clubhouse will now be open for Lunch and Dinner starting May 1st. Please see the attached page for all the May hours. The Locker Rooms will be open at 8:00 on Weekdays and 7:00 on Weekends. Locker Room Larry will be available for anything you may need in Locker Rooms. Larry is here Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00-3:00. If you need your shoes cleaned, please leave your shoes in front of your locker and Larry will do a fantastic job getting them cleaned for you. If you do not have a locker and would like your shoes cleaned, please leave them on the counter with your name and member number on provided sticky notes and Larry will make sure to get those shoes sparkling. Don’t forget to come and check out Chef

Matt’s new Spring menu. There is something for everybody and we know you will love all that the kitchen is cooking up. The A-Frame will also open for the season on Opening Day May 4th. The A-Frame Hours will be 10:00-6:00 on Weekdays and 9:00-5:00 on Weekends. Make sure you swing by when you’re out on the course for some delicious snacks and icecold drinks. Also be on the lookout for our new slush machines that will be located around the Club. These are sure to be a huge hit with all members at any age level. Lastly don’t forget to check out our new Wine List and Specialty Cocktail assortment. We know that you will enjoy these drinks to start the season. We will be rotating Specialty Cocktails, Wine, and Draft Beers on Tap all year long to help satisfy all our members. The season is just starting to heat up and we hope to see everyone out enjoying the Club.
