WHY we do What we do Vision: Through ongoing community collaboration, we will create equity for all. Mission: We transform Social Capital into Opportunity by Rewarding Community. “UCB recognizes that there is a value in the community and family activities that people do on a daily basis and actually rewards you for it. This is an organization that gives people a sense of empowerment as the more you do, the more points you make. You truly control your outcome. There is no other program that I know of that has this structure of giving back to the community on this level! -Union Capital member

Our Par tners and Leaders • Mission driven partner institutions pay organizational dues to join UCB. The fee covers signing up their members as Union Capitalists and hiring a Diamond Leader to serve as point-person with their organization. • Like carbon atoms bonding together to form a diamond, our Diamond Leaders are the proactive parents and program participants that constantly commit themselves to the well-being of their community. They are natural connectors and resource aggregators for others around them. • We hire, train, and manage our Diamond Leaders to sign-up new Union Capitalists. Diamond Leaders support their members accessing resources and achieving goals, while also organizing to address collective community concerns.
