TJ Student Gives Back with Senior Graduation Project
WCCF to Raffle Off Penguin Tickets Washington County Community Foundation is raffling four Pittsburgh Penguins tickets for the February 20 game against the Philadelphia Flyers at CONSOL Energy Center. The game tickets, donated by CONSOL Energy, are for Club Seats in Section 111. Raffle tickets are $10. The winner will be determined by the first validated three-digit PA Lottery number drawn at 7 p.m. on February 15. Proceeds benefit the Foundation’s Mother’s Fund, which supports programs for disadvantaged women and children in Washington County. hen Nicole Kelly, a student at Thomas Jefferson High School, was asked the question, “What are you planning on doing for your senior graduation project?", she decided to raise money for the Pleasant Hills Police K-9 Unit, Officer Scrapi and Officer Porupsky. She saw it as an opportunity to give back to those who give so much. Nicole is aiming to raise $2,000 to purchase a cooling vest, heat alarm, and other essential equipment that will help protect these K9 officers as they serve our communities.
