Pleasant Hills Rotary Participates in ‘Epic Day of Service’ The Rotary Club of Pleasant Hills proudly joined fellow Rotary clubs across the district for Rotary’s 2026 Epic Day of Service, a district-wide initiative dedicated to giving back to our communities through hands-on service projects. The Pleasant Hills Rotary partnered with the Seabees at Camp Kon-O-Kwee Branch YMCA in Fombell for a full day of hard work and fellowship. Volunteers spent the day pulling weeds, planting flowers, spreading mulch, building benches, and helping beautify the campgrounds for the many children and families who enjoy the facility yearround. More than just a day of work, the event was an opportunity to strengthen friendships, connect with other volunteers, and live out Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self.” Clubs throughout the district participated in similar projects, making a positive impact in communities across the region. Located along the scenic Connoquenessing Creek, YMCA Camp Kon-O-Kwee Spencer has been serving children, families, and community groups for nearly 100 years. The camp provides overnight camps, retreats, outdoor education programs, and leadership experiences designed to help young people grow in spirit, mind, and body. The Rotary Club of Pleasant Hills is proud to support organizations like Camp Kon-O-Kwee and looks forward to continuing projects that strengthen our communities through service and fellowship.
