The Level 5 Power TeamGym squad from Gymkhana Gymnastics took first place at the Power TeamGym National Championships held in Pigeon Forge, TN on June 25, 2016. Coached by Adam Mannheimer and Briana Conroy, the Level 5 Power TeamGym Squad was made up of Abigail Diel, Melanie Hendrick, Megan Malecki, Larissa Mannheimer, Morgan McNary, Rachel Niesen, Kylie Schaum, and Lily Thompson. This is the first time the team has competed at Nationals; however, they have been very successful at many regional competitions. They have competed and placed at events in Maryland, New Jersey, and across Pennsylvania. The team has also performed at numerous local venues and events, such as Washington Wild Things baseball games, the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh and University of Pittsburgh gymnastics meets.
