Mon Valley Home Show Celebrates 25 Years in Operation 2016 Event Will Take Place April 8 – 10 By Christen M. Stroh This year, the Mon Valley Home Show has something even more important to share with the public – the home show is celebrating 25 years in operation. Leo Rach from Event Services said, “The theme for this year is really focusing on the silver anniversary.” The home show offers patrons from the Mon Valley and surrounding areas the chance to spend time browsing through the wares and services offered by more than 100 vendors, who provide everything from landscaping services to lighting. Snack booths, entertainment booths, and other booths geared towards well-being round out Vendors line the aisles of last year’s 2015 Mon Valley Home Show. the lineup. What can patrons hope to get out of going to the Mon Valley Home Show? “It’s a great place to go for people who are interested in anything for the home or the garden and are looking to make improvements or updates. What we’d really like for them to do is make connections with reputable vendors who can help them out with what they’re looking for,” said Rach. And for vendors, the home show is an ideal way to reach a large number of prospective clients at one time. This year’s Mon Valley Home Show will take place at the Rostraver Ice Gardens, located on Rt. 51, on April 8 from 2 – 7 p.m., April 9 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., and April 10 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Parking is free.
