Local McDonald’s Employee Wins College Scholarship

Scholarships for Excellence in Academics, Work and Community Are Always on the Menu at McDonald’s

Madison Heid, an employee at McDonald’s of South Park, 5261 Library Road, was recently surprised with a $2,500 scholarship check.

A Community College of Allegheny County student majoring in Anesthesia Technology, Heid was selected for the scholarship based on her academic success, community involvement and job performance. Heid joined the McDonald’s restaurant team as a crew member in 2020 and has been promoted to her current position as shift manager.

“I was so surprised,” Heid said. “This will help me pay for the rest of my college so that I can get my degree and pursue my career.”

To work with Madison Heid and other valued McDonald’s employees, go to www.mcdonalds.com/careers or text “APPLY” to 38000. For more information, go to the local Facebook and Instagram pages @McDonald’s of Three Rivers.
