For wellbeing, information and advice, whatever the issue, there’s a network of people at USW ready to help you.
International and EU student support
We offer excellent support and advice at every stage of your journey – from making your application to graduation and beyond. Our Immigration and International Student Advice team can give you information about non-academic issues such as immigration and daily life in the UK, plus they arrange lots of events and social activities. Disability Services provide information and advice, and co-ordinate disabilityrelated support. Whether you have a physical, sensory or unseen disability, or a specific learning difficulty, we will draw up a support plan to ensure you receive the learning support you need.
Religion: The Chaplaincy offers an open and affirming service to all USW students. We offer confidential guidance and support to students whether they are religious or not.
Wellbeing Service offers free advice, counselling and support. We are concerned with your overall wellbeing, including physical and mental health, social welfare, and ways to improve these. Residence Support Team looks after students living in Halls and are a useful contact for any Halls-related issues.
Student mentoring aims to make your start to university life easy and enjoyable, with practical advice and support.
Student Money Advice can help you manage your money and offer advice on student funding.
