First-year courses
In addition to the literature and language courses, the first-year study plan includes:
One course in linguistics or didactics (C) (6 CFU)
One course in history (D) (6 CFU)
One course in methodology or philology (E) (6 CFU)
One free-choice course (G) of at least 9 CFU (and up to 12 CFU if the student chooses two 6 CFU courses)
For each of these courses, ISLLI offers at least one option taught in Italian and one in English.
Finally, students must choose either a workshop or an internship (F) worth 6 CFU (relevant information concerning both activities—especially regarding deadlines and registration, which is mandatory for workshops—can be found on the ISLLI webpage). Regarding the workshops, some are conducted in Italian, while others in English.
Second-year courses

One elective exam (M) (6 CFU) chosen from three options (a course in translation studies, a course in English language, or a course in Italian literature)
One course in methodology or comparative studies (N) (6 CFU)
One course in digital humanities (H) (6 CFU)
For each of these courses, ISLLI offers at least one option taught in Italian and one in English.
