Against The Opponent UNF and Boston College are squaring off for the first time ... its the first time that North Florida is hosting a three-game series against an ACC team ... the Ospreys are going up against an ACC opponent for the first time since opening the year at 1:05 p.m. Florida State in 2021. Sweatting it Out Sophomore shortstop Aidan Sweatt saved his first career home run for a special moment Wednesday against USF. Sweatt took the first pitch that he saw in the ninth inning just over the fence in left field, giving UNF a 2-1 walk-off win against USF. 7.0 Scoreless Lefty Tony Roca went seven innings and only allowed two hits while keeping USF off the board on 123 pitches.
