Assistant Coach Gina Young
Young pitched collegiately at Purdue and Arizona, spinning 173 strikeouts between her time with the Boilermakers and Wildcats.
The Tucson, Ariz., native made the move to the Sunshine State following her collegiate career where she has spent two summers as the head coach of the Bradenton Slice of the Florida Gulf Coast League, and one season as a graduate assistant at Jacksonville University.

Young helped guide the Slice to a 13-8 mark in its first season during 2020. This past year, Bradenton made a run to the semifinals before being ousted by the eventual champs.
This past summer she had the honor of playing exhibition games against Team Canada, Team Mexico and the USSSA Pride.
She is working towards her master’s in instructional leadership, training and development.
