Geotex worked with the City of Denton to provide geotechnical engineering and materials testing services on a multi-phase rehabilitation project on a dam originally built in 1935 and reconstructed in 1965. Geotex provided rehabilitation design concepts for the existing embankment dam and spillway that included an installation of a key along the downstream toe, full embankment reconstruction, with spillway and retaining walls as additional rehabilitation options.
