Changing

Changing Lives

‘I most appreciate the diversity of UNC Charlotte’s student population, and the different opportunities available to students. I didn’t know what to expect when coming to UNC Charlotte as an international student. I had fears of not being able to fit-in or participate. Looking back, I realize all those days of worrying weren’t necessary. The different organizations, programs, classes, and students have all definitely made my stay at UNC Charlotte an amazing one. I chose UNC Charlotte because of its location and its Engineering program. For me, being a 49er means being bold, being a leader, and being a team player.’ — Ogechi Ugonna, Nigeria
