Rootle Roadster Tour Brings
Family Fun to NC Communities
In March, PBS North Carolina kicked off the 2023 Rootle Roadster Tour at Highland Elementary School in Sanford. Now in its second year, the Rootle Roadster Tour travels across the state to share playful learning experiences with families within their own community. Everyone is invited to enjoy free games, activities, resources and demonstrations.
When the Rootle Roadster Tour visited Mount Olive in April, we met Jayden Parrish (shown above). Grandmother Gail Parrish told us Jayden “counts down the days to receiving Centerpiece each month because he loves all things PBS including Rootle.” Jayden, who asked for a PBS North Carolina membership for Christmas, knows why members are so essential: “It is important to support PBS because it provides educational programming.” Thank you, Jayden!
The Rootle Roadster Tour is made possible with support from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Child Development and Early Education.
