The University of Miami School of Architecture is founded upon a shared commitment to enhancing communities and a focus on city development as the essential aim of architecture. The School has claimed a special and important place in the field by imparting the wisdom of history and the resilience of timetested building traditions and neighborhoods to our students.

Our efforts now align those traditions with new technology to tackle unprecedented environmental and social challenges, while preserving the quality and character of the places and experiences we value.
