Students will sign in for all organizations they represent upon arrival. If you are unable to donate blood you can also donate canned goods. Five (5) canned goods are equal to one person. There will be a first, second, and third place for the organization which has the greatest number of people donate in both the RED and the GOLD category. BONUS – If a person donates both canned goods and blood they will count as two participants for their organizations.

LipSync is a performance-based competition for any team or organization wishing to participate. Teams of up to ten will choreograph a dance and skit performance of up to 8 minutes. CANstruction is the Homecoming philanthropy event. In this competition teams will collect cans ahead of time in order to build a structure reflecting the overall Homecoming theme. UMSL Leaders & Luminaries 6:30pm, Office of Student Life

Leaders and Luminaries is an annual celebration of student leadership at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Former students who were involved in Student Government Association, Student Senate, University Program Board, Student Legislative Association, and the Associated Students of the University of Missouri are invited to join us for dinner, drinks, and a tour of the newly renovated Office of Student Life.

This event is invite only, and registration is required. Please contact the Office of Student Life 314-516-5291 for more information.

The Office of Student Life is open Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm during the Winter Break. Please note the office will be closed from Thursday, December 25, 2014 – Friday, January 2, 2015 for the holidays. Tickets will also be available in the Millennium Student Center beginning Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Please check back for specific locations.

Tickets cost $30 per individual, $55 per couple, or $275 for a table of 10.

Tired of always answering to others, Nick (Jason Bateman), Dale (Charlie Day) and Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) go into business for themselves. After demonstrating the prototype for an invention called the Shower Buddy, they soon get involved with a shady investor and decide to kidnap him for ransom money. Rated R. Refreshments are provided. Spanish Lake is a bold and uncompromising documentary focused on economic oppression in the suburb of Spanish Lake, Missouri. Operating without a local government, the lack of community leadership has disastrous effects, including a mass exodus of the white population in the late 1990’s. The themes of the film parallel America’s growing political divide, underlying racism, and the rise of anti-government sentiment. Highlighted in the film is a landmark U.S. Supreme Court case from 1971, spearheaded by then HUD Secretary George Romney, which changed the course of public housing for the nation.
