Transfer Requirements

Complete an application online at umsl.edu/apply Submit a $35 application fee ($40 for international students) Send official transcripts and test scores from all colleges/universities attended directly to the Office of Admissions 351 Millennium Student Center 1 University Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63121

Students transferring with 24 credit hours or more of post-high school, college-level coursework must have a minimum 2.3 grade point average across all courses at previous institutions to qualify for admission.

Students transferring with fewer than 24 credit hours need to follow the same procedures as first-time freshmen.

Need-Based Scholarships All students are encouraged to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The FAFSA is available on October 1 preceding the start of the academic year. For additional information or to apply, please visit fafsa.ed.gov. The FAFSA code for UMSL is 002519. Once Financial Aid receives your FAFSA, they will communicate with you via your UMSL email account. Be sure to activate your student email account and check it regularly.
