Through cross-recognition of courses, you can complete two respected University of Michigan graduate degrees in less time and at less cost: Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Computer Information Systems and Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science and Information Systems with a concentration in Information Systems. • This dual program requires 15 less credit hours to complete than if the degrees were completed separately. • The degrees are independent; each degree is awarded when completed, with specified credits accepted for the second degree after the first has been awarded. • Courses are offered through a variety of formats, including online, on-campus, and via UM-Flint’s Cyber Classroom.

Satisfactory performance on the Master’s level exit examination

At most one independent study course is allowed toward program requirements under the non-thesis option. Students may be required to take certain prerequisites in computer science based on previous coursework.
