The deadline is approaching to apply for the Rhonda Ray Scholarship for the 2026 Summer Semester! Help support the next generation of economic development leaders by sharing MEDA’s Rhonda Ray Scholarship with the students in your network.
This $500 scholarship helps Maryland college students pursuing coursework in economic development, public policy, political science, or related fields offset the cost of credit courses. The scholarship’s namesake, Rhonda Ray, was a passionate advocate for higher education and a former devoted MEDA board member.
As MEDA works to strengthen communities and grow opportunity across Maryland, the Rhonda Ray Scholarship invests directly in students preparing to enter the economic development profession and public service workforce.
Applications for the summer 2026 semester are due by March 31, 2026, and selected students will be notified by May 9, 2026. For more information and to apply today, please click below.
