CONNECTION THROUGH DISASTER RESPONSE

When the deadly tropical Cyclone Idai hit Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi in March 2019, UMCom’s Global Communications Technology team became part of the response effort. By supplying solar equipment to an emergency communication center, disaster response continued unhindered. We also provided compatible floodlights and necessary funding to send out emergency messages via text.
