Cultivating Innovation And Entrepreneurship
UMBC’S RESEARCH PARK – bwtech@UMBC – is adjacent to the UMBC campus, spanning 50,000 square meters and housing incubators focused on cybersecurity, IT and life sciences, and engineering. Health IT, advanced manufacturing, and other early-stage technology start-ups are also supported. More than 130 U.S. and international companies are on site providing over 1,800 direct jobs, and many internship opportunities to UMBC students.
