Dancing Our Way into Spring Break

Hi, my name is Anna Carreiro, and I am excited to say that I am the Executive Pastry Chef with UMassD Dining. I have always been passionate about scratch baking. I love the challenge of transforming simple ingredients into unique desserts, pastries, and baked goods.
I previously worked in the wedding industry for over 25 years, crafting everything from delicate pastries and cookies to elaborate wedding and custom celebration cakes. Desserts should not only taste amazing, but they are also an important part of the visual aspect and should create feelings of excitement and joy.
I am honored to be part of the Chartwells community here at UMass Dartmouth We celebrate everyday moments, cultural events, and special milestones through food I am dedicated to making all experiences, whether simple or elaborate, memorable. I bake with purpose and with heart and I lead by example. I hope to meet you soon and make your day Sweeter!
