PLACING

YOURORDER Suite Representative The identified Suite Representative is the person authorized to place orders, invoice, talk with the Suite Attendants, share necessary information with guests, and tell us about any special arrangements for your suite. We will inform the Suite Representative about special events and menus. Any questions for us should come through the Suite Representative. How to Order In order to meet all of your food and beverage requirements, your order should be placed in advance. Orders placed in advance allow for a greater selection for you and your guests. Advance Order Deadlines: For Saturday games – by 3pm Tuesday For Monday games – by 3pm Wednesday Please place your advance order online through our web-based ordering system (http://suites.umd.edu). Log in to place orders and access previous and future game orders. Any questions or problems with your order can be directed to the Terptations at Tyser Tower Office by email (terptations@umd.edu). Delivery and Service Food will be delivered throughout the game at the times you specify when you place your order. If you do not specify a time, your food will be delivered approximately 60 minutes before game time. Suite attendants will be stationed outside of your suite throughout the game to ensure that everything is delivered and that any additional needs are met. Standing Orders Food and beverages are available as a standing order. Just let us know what you’d like and we’ll deliver that order to your suite every time. Email us your order with the notation "standing order" and we'll call you back to confirm the details. Game Day Orders A Suite Attendant will be standing by to receive game day orders. Game day orders are supplements to advance orders and the menu is limited to those items easily prepared and served during the event. Allow 45 minutes for delivery. Food or beverages ordered during the event require either credit card payment at the time of order or a pre-authorized card on file.

ORDERING

Payment Arrangements Suite Holders will be asked to have a credit card number or University FRS number on file with the Terptations at Tyser Tower Office. Invoices must be paid prior to the event. Game day orders are payable at the time the order is placed. Credit cards acceptable for payment: American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa Service Charge and Sales Tax Food and non-alcoholic beverages are subject to 6% sales tax. Alcoholic beverages are subject to 9% sales tax. A 15% service charge will be added to advance orders. A 22% service charge will be added to game day orders. Cancellation Policy In the event you need to cancel an order, please do so at least two business days before the event. Due to costs incurred, orders cancelled less than two business days before the event will be charged at 50% of the invoice price. Food and Beverage Service The University of Maryland policy requires that Suite Holders and guests use Terptations at Tyser Tower for food and beverage service in the suite. Food and beverages purchased elsewhere in Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium are not permitted in Tyser Tower, and food or beverages served in Tyser Tower may not be removed from Tyser Tower. Any food or beverages brought into Tyser Tower are subject to confiscation.

ORDERING

ALCOHOL

SERVICE The University of Maryland Athletics Council has developed the following policies for the safe service of alcoholic beverages in Tyser Tower. Alcoholic beverages may be obtained through Terptations at Tyser Tower and cannot be otherwise brought into or removed from Tyser Tower. Any alcoholic beverages brought into Tyser Tower are subject to confiscation. Alcohol can be ordered only if food is also ordered for the suite. No suite will be sold alcohol without a food purchase for that game. All alcohol will be kept in a locked cabinet or refrigerator until the Suite Representative contacts the Suite Attendant who will unlock it. Orders for alcohol can be placed until the end of the third quarter. Alcohol may not be removed from the suites at the conclusion of the game. Alcohol must be poured into cups provided in the suite and may not at any time be consumed from cans or bottles. The minimum drinking age in the state of Maryland is 21 years of age. Each Suite Holder is responsible for monitoring and controlling the service and consumption of alcohol within his/her Suite. The Universityâ€™s alcoholic beverage control officials and the suite attendants are authorized to enter the suite to check identification and monitor alcohol consumption. The University of Maryland assumes no responsibility for the service, possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages in the suite. Underage drinking and the possession or use of alcohol in any manner contrary to law is prohibited. These rules and regulations apply to Suite Holders and occupants of the suite regardless of whether the Suite Holder is present in the suite.

ORDERING

GUIDELINES

GUIDELINES Access You and your guests are able to access your suite 1.5 hours prior to kick-off time, and can remain 1 hour after the end of the game. Alcohol Persons under 21 years of age are not permitted to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. We are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all of your guests. We require the Suite Holder or their representative to monitor and control alcohol consumption in the suite. All beverages must be placed in the cups provided in the suite. Game Day Atmosphere All Suite Holders and guests are requested to respect the rights of other Suite Holders and ensure that all activities conducted in the suite area and exterior seating are done in a thoughtful and courteous manner. Suite Holders agree to maintain the suite in good condition and to reimburse the University of Maryland Athletics Department for any damage done to the suite other than ordinary wear and tear. Game Day Suite Contact For corporate suites or suites held by more than one individual, the Suite Representative should designate a game-day host who will accept responsibility for the activities within the suite for that particular game. This host should make him or herself known to the Suite Attendant. Re-entry into Tyser Suite Holder tickets will be marked upon entry into Tyser Tower. Suite Guests who wish to leave Tyser Tower and later return will be issued a “return ticket” as they exit; both the “return ticket” and original suite ticket must be presented to gain re-entry into Tyser Tower. Suite Guest Passes must be presented to the Terp Host for entry into Tyser Tower. When leaving Tyser Tower, a Suite “return ticket” will be issued. Guests will be required to present both the “return ticket” and the Suite Guest Pass to gain re-entry into Tyser Tower. Security Any time you leave your suite, please be sure to remove all personal property or secure items in the locked cabinet provided for Suite Holders. Unfortunately, Maryland Athletics cannot be responsible for any misplaced property, equipment, or other articles left unattended. Unsecured items found in the suite will be forwarded to Fan Assistance Lost and Found.

Items prohibited in the stadium apply to the suites as well. Frequently Asked Questions

How do I enter the stadium? There is a VIP Suite and Mezzanine ticket holders entrance at Gate H, located on the southwest side of Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium. You may also present your suite ticket at any other stadium entrance except for Student Gate C.

How do I get to my Suite? There are four elevators (one in the West Tower, one in the East Tower, and two in the Center Tower) to take you from the stadium concourse to the level of your Suite. You should use the elevator of the appropriate tower of your suite, as identified on the suite ticket. Please note Elevator 4 will be held briefly for game operations staff to escort visiting and home football coaches from their locations in Tyser Tower to their locker rooms at halftime and at the end of the game. Other elevators and stairs will not be affected during this time.

What time do the Suites open and close? The suites open 1.5 hours before kick off and will remain open until 1 hour after the end of the game.

When will my suite be opened? Suites will be unlocked and available 1.5 hours prior to the game. A Terp Host will be on duty in the area outside of your suite.

What other areas of Tyser Tower can I access with my suite ticket? You may access levels two through four in Tyser Tower, however to enter another suite or the Presidentâ€™s Suite, you must have a guest pass or suite ticket for that suite, or permission of the suite holder.

May I take alcoholic beverages outside of my suite area? No, alcohol may not be removed from the suite at any time. Any remaining alcoholic beverages at closing time will be secured in your suite.

How do I report a problem on game day? Game day contact information will be provided in each suite.

Can I personalize my Suite? There is designated wall space in your Suite for your personal signage, banner or decorations. You can contact Beth Deskins, suite services coordinator, to arrange to have your personal touches installed. Other than the designated space, you cannot install or hang any items on the walls of the suite. Should you desire to bring furniture into your suite, please contact Beth Deskins to arrange for approval from the facility coordinator. Permanent alterations such as wallpaper or changing the paint, carpeting, cabinets, countertops or lighting fixtures are prohibited.

Are children allowed in the Suites? Yes, children are a part of the Maryland Athletics experience and are welcome in the suite and common areas. Please note that children must be supervised at all times. A suite game ticket is required for all individuals over 2 years old. Children age 2 and under are NOT required to have a game/suite ticket in order to enter the stadium. However, they must be seated on a parent or guardian's lap and not interfere with the sightlines of others.

Can I place a special order that is not on the menu for a special occasion? Special catering arrangements can be made by contacting Terptations at Tyser Tower (phone: 240-462-9181 or email: terptations@umd.edu).

Can I smoke in my Suite? Smoking is prohibited in the outside stadium seating area and the lounge areas of the suites, as well as any inside area of the suite tower. Cigarette smoking is permitted on the outside terraces that face the stadium concourse, located on the second floor.

Does a suite guest pass allow entry into the stadium? No. Each Suite Holder receives game tickets and suite guest passes.

When will my suite be cleaned? Housekeeping will remove garbage periodically during the game. Notify your suite attendant for services needed. Following every game, the suite is fully cleaned by housekeeping staff. Regular servicing includes dusting, vacuuming, and garbage removal. Please report any damages to the suite services coordinator.

Can I distribute my companyâ€™s advertisements and brochures within Tyser Tower? Distribution of advertisements, solicitations and canvassing within your suite, among the suite ownerâ€™s invited guests is permissible. Distribution of these items in the public areas of Tyser Tower and the stadium is prohibited.

What if I forget my cabinet key on game day? Thatâ€™s not a problem. Simply inform the Suite Services Coordinator who will unlock and lock your cabinet for you.

GAMEDAYMENU The items on our Game Day Menu were selected because they can be prepared and served during the event. Please allow 45 minutes for delivery of your order. Credit card payment for game day orders is required at the time the order is placed. All game day orders are subject to sales tax and 22% service charge. For your next Tyser event consider ordering in advance from our full catering menu with a more extensive array of food options and lower service charge. If you would like, we will be happy to setup a standing order for your suite. The standing order will give you the same food every game without the inconvenience of reordering for each event.
