Windows in the Lumen Vitae University Center have been decorated with paper hearts as part of #aworldofhearts, a movement that encourages people to place hearts on their windows to show community solidarity. On March 27, nearly 100 members of the University of Mary community decorated their vehicles with messages of support and love, winding through campus to demonstrate the true strength of this university — its people and their hearts for one another.

Easter brings us such glorious hope!

But of course no words are sufficient to encompass the transcendence of Easter, the utter enormity of the Resurrection, whose aftershocks continue to upend every human assumption.

When we consider Christ’s life, His death and resurrection, human language falls utterly short.

We are left simply to point to Christ and say “His Cross is our Hope. His life is His message.”

How He came into this world, what He did and spoke, how He died, how He returned to us with hope and healing in His pierced hands – embracing us with love – that is the message. His life is His message.

As we go about our lives, we like to believe that our message is obvious in our intentions, in our hopefulness, in our plans.

But while intentions and hopes are wonderful seeds, they are like a child in utero, still taking shape in the womb. It’s when we act upon those hopes and intentions – boots on the ground – that a message is truly born. Seen. Known.

Our message to the world at this very difficult time is, and should remain, filled with hope. As followers of Christ, we proceed as His disciples have always done. We proceed with gratitude for life, showing Who we follow by acting with compassion for others, indelibly marked by self-giving love, and recognized as Christians by simply responding to the question ‘how can we serve?’

We know that, in this time and always, we walk into an unknown future, but armed with the certainty of His grace and care. We are, always, at every time and every place, held in the strength of His arms.

God is eternal, and eternally the same, always loving us through any darkness into His marvelous light. From all of us at Mary, you’ve been so much in our prayers. Pray for us!

Nearly three years ago, benefactors of the University of Mary took health sciences faculty to Europe on what was named the Dignity of the Human Person pilgrimage.

Faculty visited Dachau concentration camp; Nuremburg, Germany and the grotto of Lourdes in France.

Jodi Roller, Dean of the School of Health Sciences, describes their experience that has only deepened the University of Mary’s dedication to forming ethical health care professionals with respect for the human person. A strong signal of this dedication is the university’s plan to rename its school the Saint Gianna School of Health Sciences.

“In August 2017, the faculty from what will soon become the Saint Gianna School of Health Sciences were blessed by our benefactors with an extraordinary opportunity.

We embarked on the Dignity of the Human Person pilgrimage to Lourdes, which was unique in travel, opportunity, and especially the profound impact it had on us all.

To prepare for this journey, faculty attended lectures in Dr. Joseph Stuart’s course, ‘The History of Medicine,’ studying the background of Nazi Germany’s descent into madness.

We learned that the Nazi rise to power was precipitated by the suffering of their citizenry due to extreme sanctions as a partial result of the Treaty of Versailles ending World War I. Nazism came to categorize anyone who

couldn’t contribute to the state, such as the 275,000 children and adults who had disabilities, as ‘useless eaters’ who were summarily executed.

Although the Jewish population was generally hard-working and successful, they were deemed less than human and eventually, too, led to slaughter. Dr. Stuart and Dr. Ray Gruby, who assisted in the course, accompanied the pilgrims on this 11-day journey and presented lessons on long bus rides through the European countryside.

The pilgrimage started in Paris, where we had Mass at Sacre Coeur, visited Notre Dame Cathedral, and gazed at the artwork in the Louvre, while being tutored by University of Mary Rome campus art faculty, Pascaline de Mesmay.

From Paris, we traveled to Eichstatt, Germany, home of St. Walburga’s Benedictine Abbey, the historical origin of our Annunciation Monastery. Prioress Sister Nicole Kunze joined our group, and it was thrilling to participate in the Sisters’ vespers with one of our own. Using St. Walburga’s as our home base, we traveled to Munich, Germany, and toured the origin of the Third Reich, followed by a trip to the Dachau concentration camp.

We spent an afternoon on guided tours of the horrific realities of the maniacal Nazi doctors, followed by Mass in the Carmelite Convent chapel which now stands right in the camp. The next day, we traveled to the Nuremberg courthouse which housed the postwar Nuremberg trials and learned more about the atrocities the Nazis perpetrated on Europe.

The last five days of our pilgrimage were in Lourdes, France, at the grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, where St. Bernadette Soubirous received apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1858.

Millions of pilgrims visit this shrine each year, many of whom have mental and physical disabilities, and receive comfort, prayer, and healing. We witnessed thousands of people with disabilities, many in wheelchairs and on stretchers, being honored and held up in high regard by the thousands who were praying with them.

We participated in processions each night, where we held our candle lanterns high and recited the rosary as we slowly made our way through the grounds.

The contrast between Dachau and Lourdes and the difference in how human persons are treated created a visceral understanding that the School of Health Sciences has a responsibility to reverse the course of popular thinking in some health care circles that disrespects human life. As health care professionals, we have always respected the dignity of human life, but through this pilgrimage, we came to know our responsibility is to change the culture.

Therefore, we have revised the mission and vision of our soon-to-be Saint Gianna School of Health Sciences: ‘To prepare health care professionals, anchored in moral courage, who respect and defend the dignity of the human person. In the spirit of Saint Gianna, we envision a thriving center of excellence that prepares leaders in the renewal of health care to embody respect and compassion for the dignity of life.’”

classmates assess her thyroid so that they could see an abnormal thyroid exam for learning purposes,” Gerhardt said.

On its own, preparing to be a DNP is a full-time job. Add to that her everyday job at CHI St. Alexius Health as a registered nurse and helping her husband raise their two children.

“I have always thrived in chaos,” said Schulz, a Bismarck native. “I think being an intensive care nurse, you tend to adapt and thrive in stressful and fast-paced environments. There are a lot of late nights and homework time during the kids’ naps, but you do what you have to do to get the work done for your dream you’ve wanted for so long.”

Earning her graduate degree and becoming a DNP suddenly took an unexpected turn that not only put Schulz’s career dreams in jeopardy, but also her life.

In September of 2018, during classroom hands-on assessments, Schulz and her group partner needed assistance with their thyroid evaluations because they were unsure if they were doing it properly. They asked their professor, Dr. Annie Gerhardt, to assist.

“A thyroid exam tends to be a difficult assessment to learn,” said Gerhardt, who is 6

a Family Nurse Practitioner [FNP] clinical competence coordinator and assistant professor, as well as a captain in the North Dakota National Guard State Medical Detachment Unit. “During the exam, I noted a palpable mass on Alexis’s thyroid and questioned if she or another provider had noted this previously. She had not.”

Gerhardt knew Alexis had recently been pregnant with her second child, and women can develop thyroid issues during or just after pregnancy, making the finding not completely abnormal. However, it could also indicate cancer or other serious health issues.

Either way, the finding absolutely required follow-up, and Gerhardt encouraged Alexis to go in and see her provider for further testing.

“During our remaining class time, being the great student and learning partner that Alexis is, she shared the finding with the class and volunteered to have her fellow

Schulz soon made an appointment with her primary doctor that determined a biopsy was needed. Through her own research, Schulz learned that thyroid nodules are very common, and 90 percent are benign, so she became optimistic. However, soon after the removal, she quickly learned that her nodule was cancerous.

“On January 7, 2019, I had the right side of my thyroid removed and within three days I got the phone call that would forever change my life,” Schulz said. “My pathology results were that it was a minimally invasive follicular carcinoma and that I should come in to talk about my options.”

That’s when Schulz’s chaotic world quickly became even more complicated. Her head filled with worry and uncertainty: What about her schooling, her homework, her clinicals, her job, and most importantly — her family?

“At the time of the call, my mom, dad, husband and two little kids were at the table eating dinner. I thought, ‘how am I going to say this? What do I say?’ This is going to rock everyone’s world. I had told them it was Dr. Chalmers before I left the room, so they knew what it was about. I had no choice but to tell them.”

Together with her family and her doctor, Alexis decided to remove the rest of her thyroid for preventive treatment and longterm care. Her second surgery was January 17, 2019. Schulz is recovering well and hasn’t needed any treatment since the surgery.

“I will still have to check my thyroglobulin levels for the rest of my life, because if it were to come back, I would have to undergo treatment,” said Schulz.

Schulz gives credit to her huge support system during what she calls a “crazy time” of her life — her family, her classmates, friends, coworkers and University of Mary faculty, and especially Dr. Annie Gerhardt.

I don’t know how many times I got a phone call or email from Dr. Gerhardt last year when this was all happening, saying she was praying for me and asking if there was anything I needed. That is a special attribute that not all instructors have and what makes Dr. Gerhardt stand out. I am so lucky to have the faculty that I have at UMary.

The University of Mary is known for its excellent nurses and nursing program so I knew I wanted to go back for my continuing education.

“Whenever I tell my story or get asked about it, I am reminded how blessed I am that I was placed in this program. I don’t think there is really any other way to explain what happened besides that God was looking out for me. It made my faith

ackie Huber keeps the above motto with her at all times.

That’s Brigadier General Jackie Huber, who since Oct. 1, 2019, has served as the second-in-command of the North Dakota National Guard.

People have made a bit of a fuss about the fact that she is the first woman to hold the position of Deputy Adjutant General, but to Huber, it’s not what she focuses on.

“I was selected for this position as best qualified,” she said.

“I had to meet all the same job requirements as anyone else: command assignments, experience, along with civilian and military education.”

“The way I look at it is, I’m a soldier and just doing the best I can with what God has given me.”

Huber, who earned her master’s degree in management from the University of Mary in 1999, was born and raised in Bismarck and graduated from St. Mary’s Central High School in 1988. She enlisted in the National Guard in January 1989 during her undergraduate study at the University of North Dakota while simultaneously enrolled in the ROTC program.

At a social event, a conversation between her parents and Bismarck attorney and now retired Army National Guard major general Murray Sagsveen prompted them to encourage her — and her younger brother — to join the Guard.

After Huber completed basic training and Advanced Individual Training (AIT), she knew she wanted to be an officer, she said.

“That’s how my path started,” she said. “The National Guard defined who I am. Being in the military is not easy but is very, very rewarding. It gives you the foundation of military values to live by, on- and off-duty.”

hat gift includes the values she’s learned — “the values in society that are so important, including mutual respect, to be part of something bigger than yourself, and so much emphasis on servant-leadership,” she said. “On the basis of what you do [as a soldier], you have to be willing to be called to duty at any time.”

In the Guard, she has witnessed amazing loyalty and commitment to the nation and to the state of North Dakota.

“Any decision will have consequences.

Always think them through.”

Huber’s experiences in the Guard have included deployments to Desert Shield/ Desert Storm with the 191st Military Police based in Mandan while she was a college student at UND and to Iraq in 2003-2004, with the 142nd Engineer Battalion from Fargo.

For Huber, “When I think of servantleadership, I think it’s somebody who truly cares about the people who are working with them or who they are representing. No matter what branch of service, you’re always given a mission.

In difficult situations such as these, your perceptions can change of how strong you might have thought some people were, she said.

“The exposure to people’s raw experiences — it was a challenging time. You don’t know when you’re going home; you’re in a hostile environment. You see people’s coping skills.”

“Keep that ‘people piece’ up front in everything you do. Don’t lose sight of that.

That ‘people piece’ is what’s going to bring mission success.”

“I was 20, just turning 21. Deployments are tough and challenging, but you can take them and learn something from that and define your character by your experiences.”

Anyone who aspires to be respected as a leader needs humility, Huber said, and the courage to do the ‘hard, right thing.’

In addition, “having honesty and integrity in what we do, both in words and actions.

Living by your word.”

As a captain during her deployment to Iraq, “We were in austere environments.

That was character-building,” she said. It honed her appreciation for things such as restaurants and running water, simple pleasures we all take for granted.

Huber served as a Military Police officer, whose creed contains the words ‘of the troops, for the troops.’

Huber got the call to report to Fargo for deployment to Iraq on Martin Luther King Day, and by Saturday of that week she was

“It was hard, with two young sons, ages 6 and 1 ½. It’s different, being a mother, leaving behind little ones dependent on you, and a husband.

“But you live up to your obligations that you commit to. I was very fortunate, to have a very supportive husband and family, parents, and in-laws. And kids that are resilient.”

Faith is an important dimension of the military experience.

Chaplains serve the soldiers, and part of resilience is to have that solid foundation, physical mental, emotional, and spiritual, she said. Faith plays a part in being able to do those hard things when they are asked for.

Distilled down, “service to one’s country and state is a wonderful career,” Huber said. “It made me the person I am. It’s an opportunity to really see things through a different lens, to have gratitude for things people take for granted.”

Huber closed with saying that “military members have a very special camaraderie — it’s an extended family. This profession provides so many life skills to be the foundation for a great life and a great perspective.” www.umary.edu

Rather than tentatively scheduling a diminished ceremony at a later time, there will be a combined Double Commencement on April 24, 2021 … almost exactly a year later. For the benefit of both classes celebrating their graduation, we plan on a huge celebration party on campus afterwards with a live band, lots of festive food and drink, and a massive fireworks display. In the meantime, we honor them by celebrating their time at the university with these photos and memories.

Tayler Kopp passed away on February 14, 2020. Tayler was pursuing a double major in elementary education and special education. Her professors and coworkers said she was a joy in class and a wonderful teacher. She was loved by many, including her husband, Alex, and son, Easton. Tayler was excited to meet her new baby boy, MacKinnon, in April, who sadly passed away the same day as his mother. Tayler was set to graduate this April. We were planning on honoring her at our commencement ceremony this year, awarding the degree that she worked so hard to obtain. Her family will receive her diploma on her behalf, and we are honored to have her as an alumna of the university.

The University is proud to announce the addition of men’s and women’s golf to its extensive athletics program beginning in the 2020 fall semester.

With the addition of golf, scholar-athletes interested in pursuing a degree at the University of Mary now have 18 varsity sports to choose from.

“

By including golf in our program, it gives the University of Mary one of the most comprehensive athletic departments in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC),” said University of Mary Athletic Director Dale Lennon. “The addition of men’s and women’s golf is part of our new Greatness through Virtue strategic plan, which calls for athletic department expansion and allows for the whole character development of the scholar-athlete at the University of Mary.”

To lead the two teams, the university hired an impressive coaching staff: Michael Herzog, a four-time collegiate coach of the year, and Julia Bagnell, a former NCAA Division I golfer and coach. Herzog is the head coach, in charge of the men’s team and golf operations, and Bagnell is the assistant head coach overseeing the women’s team.

Herzog’s been the head golf professional at Hawktree Golf Club in Bismarck since 2017 and will remain in that role as he and Bagnell lead the Marauders into a new era of NCAA golf at the University of Mary.

“It’s a great honor and privilege to have this opportunity to coach the University of Mary Marauders golf program,” said Herzog. “I look forward to building a competitive program based on teamwork and dedication. From the

support of friends and family, to the positive attitudes and skill sets of our scholar-athletes on this team, I believe we have the foundation to build a winning tradition here at the University of Mary, in the NSIC and the NCAA.”

Bagnell, who received her master’s degree from the University of Mary, is currently an advisor for working adults in University of Mary Online Programs.

“I am excited and honored to be a part of the golf program,” said Bagnell. “I look forward to working with Mike in building and leading successful and competitive teams.”

Herzog won’t have to move his current office at the prestigious Hawktree Golf Club northwest of Bismarck because that’s Michael Herzog where the Marauders will play their home matches.

For 2019-2020, the second year in a row, Golf Digest magazine ranked Hawktree the No. 1 golf course in North Dakota.

E

ach Marauders golf team will roster between 8 and 12 scholar-athletes.

The season consists of a fall schedule and spring schedule with a conference championship in late April.

“The NSIC is excited to have the University of Mary add men’s and women’s golf to its athletic offering,” said NSIC Commissioner Erin Lind.

“The addition will help enhance the student-athlete experience during the season and at the NSIC Championships. We look forward to having the Marauders be a part of NSIC golf.”

University of Mary added men’s and women’s golf in 2003 as a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The school later discontinued golf following the 2008-2009 season, shortly after it became a member of the NSIC and the NCAA. UMary joins 12 other schools (Sioux Falls, Augustana, Minnesota State, Minot State, Upper Iowa, Winona State, Concordia-St. Paul, Bemidji State, Southwest Minnesota State, MSU Moorhead, Minnesota Crookston, and Wayne State) competing in golf for the NSIC. A national survey done by the United States Golf Association ranks North Dakota as the state with the most golfers and golf courses per capita. The North Dakota High School Activities Association (NDHSAA) has 196 boys’ and girls’ teams competing in the 2019-2020 school year.

“You can’t beat the fact that we have two very experienced and accomplished golf coaches at Mary instructing our athletes at one of the premier courses in the Upper Midwest — it’s all a great fit,” said Lennon.

“With the incredible popularity of golf locally and throughout the state and Michael and Julia heading our program, area scholar-athletes will have a tremendous opportunity to compete at a high level without leaving the region. Golf at the University of Mary just makes sense.”

has a story

Every relationship has a story.

For Ben and Judy Kubischta, their story as a couple started with a blind date.

Ben was working in Bismarck at the time and Judy was in nursing school in Minot.

This serendipitous meeting led to what was known back in the day as a ‘mixed marriage,’ that is, Catholic and Lutheran.

For those whose memories don’t go back that far, that was indeed cause for consternation among many young couples’ parents – on both sides.

Fortunately for Ben and Judy, by the time they decided to marry in 1973, they found a lovely way to incorporate both their faith traditions in the wedding ceremony.

“A pastor in Judy’s rural parish knew the priest in Parshall,” Ben said. “They both were present at the wedding. That was a great ecumenical moment.”

During their married life, Judy returned to school at the University of Mary in 1986 to finish her degree. Ben had a longtime career with the North Dakota Department of Transportation. And the couple has three children, Eric, Erin, and Kelly.

Ben is a familiar face at University of Mary athletic events, attending and assisting at so many sports events of all types that he could truly be called Mary’s super fan.

Assisting at athletic events, such as recently timing at swim meets, is an amazing experience, Ben said.

“You get close to the athletes. You could see their excitement, nervousness, emotions. It was personally exciting and fulfilling to witness that,” he said.

Ben comes out for all sports; there’s not an athlete that doesn’t know him, Judy said.

Every relationship has a story.

The relationship between the Kubischtas’ scholarship and the University of Mary started with Mike Arnegard, former development officer at Mary.

“He got us into a program, specifically the nursing scholarship,” Ben said.

And at the couple’s 40th wedding anniversary, their daughter, Erin, said ‘let’s raise money here for [the] nursing scholarship,’ Judy said.

So in 2013, those gifts became the seed money for the Ben and Judy Kubischta Scholarship.

Lucas Kreamer, a senior nursing major from Jefferson City, Montana, graduates this spring. He will then serve with FOCUS [The Fellowship of Catholic University Students] for two years and likely work part-time “to keep my skills up,” he said.

Cecilia Nicklaus, a senior philosophy major from Burnsville, Minnesota, has applied to graduate school and hopes to eventually teach: “When Monsignor [Shea] speaks to students and says, ‘Mary loves you,’ he means this [University of] Mary, and our mother, Mary,” she said, “that means all the people who give of themselves. When Monsignor says, ‘Mary loves you,’ I know the full extent of what that means.”

“We gave and contributed to it, until it’s now endowed,” he said.

They choose to contribute monthly and make larger contributions when the opportunity to do so comes along, he said.

“One of the things I like about giving monthly is that we always send notes along to the staff in Mary’s Mission Advancement office,” Ben said. “Donating is important, but sending a handwritten note …”

“That’s the personal touch,” Judy said.

Julie Lytle, in the Office of Mission Advancement, has been saving Ben and Judy’s notes in a glass canning jar. The notes are written in Ben’s distinctive printing, honed during his career as an architectural draftsman, when plans were hand-drawn, and all addressed to “My Mary friends.”

“You give what you can.”

Beyond feeding the scholarship, Judy and Ben thought it would be great to take the scholarship recipients out for dinner, Judy said.

“It became very personal then. They [the students] are so awesome. We learn more about who they are,” she said.

Helping students is really important to them, Ben said.

“Quite often we don’t see the impact [of the scholarships], but we don’t have to see that impact [to know it exists],” he said.

Ben has a story he tells called “how football, the Missouri River, and a license plate brought comfort to a stranger” to illustrate the impact of kindness.

Two weeks later, he said, he received a letter from her about how much comfort that had given her in her illness.

“You give a gift, and most of the time, you don’t know the impact,” he said. “But your gift is helping somebody, someplace.”

Dear Alumni,

My name is Shayla Elm. I am a senior studying communication with a concentration in public relations. I grew up in Minot, North Dakota, and a big reason why I chose to study at the University of Mary in Bismarck was because of the scholarship I received from donor dollars. I want to express my gratitude for not only my scholarship but also for places and experiences that have enriched my time at Mary.

It is incredible to be a student at the University of Mary right now. When I came as a freshman, I felt so welcomed in the new Roers Hall, where I met my suitemates who became my best friends. Freshman year was a crucial time of development for me academically and spiritually. By offering great study spaces while still providing a homey feel, I was able to easily adjust to life as a college student. The chapel in Roers played a huge part in my spiritual development and allowed me to truly dive into my relationship with the Lord.

My favorite part of student life is how faith is a part of everything. Weekly Chapel of the Word, daily Mass, and Grounds for Belief are just a few of the many events that deepen the faith of students on campus and foster authentic friendships. It is inspiring to see my peers alongside me striving in their faith, another major reason why I chose to attend the University of Mary.

The Lumen Vitae University Center, and especially the Crow’s Nest, allowed me to create life-long memories with my friends. Being able to eat 24 hours a day — even though it contributed to sleep deprivation and ‘the freshmen 15’ — was one of the greatest gifts that a college student can receive. There were many, many

hangouts in the “Lume” that fostered my friendships and helped me have a true college experience.

The fieldhouse is home to all types of activities, from lifting weights to nine-square. I even got to try rock climbing this year, an opportunity I never thought I’d have! It is so exciting to watch our athletics programs evolve. I especially enjoy attending the hockey games and swim meets, two “new” sports. You can usually find a group of students and fans tailgating in the parking lots before games, roasting hot dogs and playing cornhole.

Finally, I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Rome, Italy in the spring of 2019. This experience formed me into the person I am today. I was able to see the roots of my faith as well as learn the rich history of the Italian people and culture. I learned major cultural skills, including chasing after buses, trusting $25 flights with my life, and realizing that I am supposed to accommodate a new culture, not viceversa.

As I prepare to graduate this spring and join the alumni family, I am filled with gratitude for the gifts I have received from generous alumni and donors of the University of Mary. Your generosity inspires me to be generous to others and to carry out the values I have learned here. Thank you for each and every gift that has enriched my experience at Mary.

JESSICA (KNUTSON) SLYTER, ’09, and her husband, Chad, are now settled in Fargo, ND. Jessica is the Vice President of Digital Strategy at Bell Banks in Fargo.

DAWN INEZ (SCHWARTZ) GLASER, ’00, married JEREMY GLASER, ’05, on June 8, 2019. The couple now lives in Chandler, AZ, where Dawn is working as a clinical claims review nurse for Aetna.

Jeremy is teaching, officiating, and coaching.

AMANDA (JACKSON) VRBAS, ’05, works as a Senior Director for PaySimple in Denver, CO. Amanda and her husband, Tyler, now reside in Golden, CO.

JUSTIN STANLEY, ’06, currently lives in Harvey, ND, with his wife, Deann Stanley.

Justin is the secondary principal at Harvey High School. In 2019 he received the ND Region 2 High School Principal of the Year Award.

MARLEY (EDINGER) ZACHMANN, ’11, ’14, and her husband, TRAVIS ZACHMANN, ’09, are living in Bismarck, where Marley is a physical therapist at Optimum Therapies of North Dakota.

ANDREW MALLOY, ’18, and AIMEE (DELAGE) MALLOY, ’18, were married May 11, 2019. The couple lives in Bismarck, ND. Andrew works for Sen. John Hoeven and Aimee works at Roberta Storm State Farm Agency.

HOLLY (HASSLER) SCHILD, ’11, ’18, will start her second year at Legacy High School in Bismarck, teaching Family and Consumer Science. Holly and her husband, Steven, live in Bismarck, where she will begin pursuing her secondary administration credentials this spring. Holly earned her master’s in education from the University of Mary in 2018.

HUAN GU, ’14, is now a senior accountant at Citco Fund Services and lives in West Chester, PA. Huan earned a bachelor’s degree at Jinling Institute of Technology in China and an MBA in accounting from the University of Mary.

KELLY KOONTZ, ’15, ’18, earned a degree in physical therapy from the University of Mary. She and her husband, Brad, were married in October 2018 in Bozeman, MT. Kelly is a physical therapist at Mosaic Rehabilitation in Bozeman, where she works with pediatrics, orthopedics, and women’s health.

DAVID JOHNSON, ’18, and Molly (Seaman) Johnson, were married December 28, 2019. Both are current students at the University of Mary. David is pursuing his Doctor of Physical Therapy and Molly is pursuing a Master of Project Management. The couple resides in Bismarck.
