Soul Fragmentation

Soul Written by Nikoletta Naskos Fragmentation

Curled in bed; my hands clasped together close to my chest holding on as if the tighter I gripped the more I could refrain the breaking bits of heart that were pouring out of my body and on to my mascara cladding pillows.

I was broken.

This sadness was not the memory of one night, but the accumulation of nights meshed into one empty experience. I couldn’t pinpoint when I became disconnected to my essence, but I can tell you of the days where it all came back to me.

I needed to get away, needed to stop society carousal-ling around me. Throwing expectation at me. Expectations on things I never wanted. It felt criminal to say you didn’t want a family; or to be part of the working world, that you longed for an existence where you could nurture your wilderness. Learn how you grow and have fun while you do it. All I ever wanted was freedom. And that was wrong.

Around this time, I heard the words ‘Soul Loss’; a term linked with Shamanic healing which means becoming detached to our inner being through life experience.

It happens to everyone; I read. Some instances of soul loss creep up on you without acknowledgment. For instance, a caring soul making the decision to not be taken advantage of and hardening to the world.

Other instances; hit sharp. A sudden event. Like a blade through the heart. A betrayal. A loss. These instances of soul fragmentation shake your world, and nothing is ever quite the same again. The person we were becomes dismantled by this experience.

Symptoms of soul loss include depression, emptiness and memory loss.

Memory loss is my favourite of the symptoms as I believe remembering who you are is a cure for fragmentation; but how can you heal something that you have buried deep in the subconscious?

It may seem like an impossible feat, however with the right tools anything is possible. For me, the tool materialised in the form of Evolutionary Astrology.

Evolutionary Astrology uses your cosmic blueprint; a graph of the night sky; to determine elements of who you are and why you are here. As you unpack the graph you begin to question elements of yourself. At first not all elements will resonate as you begin to question whether it’s true; you begin to understand yourself better.

The elements that do resonate hold just as much power. I had a North Node in Aquarius which conjunct my MC. What did that mean? It meant that my previous feelings were validated and that my soul purpose to carve a new path. This piece of information gave me the strength reconnect to my soul.

I took the information and decided that not only are we all different in personalities and life goals but also that we all have a different karmic path. The person who has no spiritual belief this lifetime; could’ve been a Sage in a previous. There was something he needed to understand as an atheist.

Your symptoms of soul loss are your warning signs; they are your intuition pushing you out of your own self built matrix. The biggest secret is you don’t need a blank slate to start again. Just the courage to realign.

Let this article be the melting of the winters frost of your life and the Spring of reconnecting to your divine self.
