To achieve this pledge you could: organise an event to help raise money for a charity, or you could take part in a charity event which has already been organised.

To achieve this pledge you need to regularly attend an extra-curricular activity, this can be a lunch-time club or after school.

Contributing to the Community...

To achieve this pledge you will need to take part or volunteer in a community project or event. This could be taking part in the Winter Droving, volunteering at the local hospital or any other local charity organisations.

Taking Part in Events...

To achieve this pledge you will be involved with an event in school such as partipating in one of the many UCC productions, sports events or whole-school activities.

Presenting to Others...

To achieve this pledge you will need to prepare and present to either students, staff or other members of the community. This can be indiviually or as part of a group.

Engaging Internationally...

To achieve this pledge you could experience another culture, by helping an international charity or organisation, making a global link or by going abroad with the school.

Helping the Environment...

To achieve this pledge you should make a positive contribution to the environment.

You could do this by being involved with environmentally-friendly activities at school such as recycling or learning to ride a bike.

Representing the School...

To achieve this pledge you will represent UCC either in school or in the local community. You could be an ambassador for the school by serving others, for example showing visitors around the school, or by competing at events.

Challenge Yourself...

To achieve your personal pledge you will set a goal that will challenge and focus you. You may use your personal pledge to learn a new skill, overcome a difficulty or achieve a personal goal.
