Your next adventure awaits… At the Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve

In UK Staycation our aim is to bring you something a bit different in every issue, so you can be confident of a holiday experience which is truly memorable. Our latest selection to fit that bill is the exclusive Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve in Kent, where your closest neighbours will be wild animals and you can reconnect with nature. They offer no less than 11 types of overnight stay, plus animal encounters and experiences, and they have also announced that all bookings will be protected by their new covid booking guarantee, so you’ll feel safe to book up something really special to look forward to.

As the first green shoots of covid recovery are seen around the UK, that reassurance comes at a perfect time to secure a post-lockdown getaway to reconnect with nature in the company of friends, family and loved ones.

PHENOMENAL VIEWS

Guests can choose from a variety of the Reserve’s in-demand accommodations including Wolf Lodge and Rhino Lodge, and the Treehouse Hotel, which boasts phenomenal views over the Kent Downs and The Bubble, the Reserve’s iconic transparent dome where you can stargaze from your bathtub. Port Lympne offers an unrivalled and unique experience in the heart of the Kent countryside, and is home to over 900 animals, across 75 species including the largest herd of black rhinos in the U.K., western lowland gorillas, tigers, lions and leopards.

NEW FOR SPRING 2021

Port Lympne’s newest accommodation, Leopard Creek, is also available to book as part of the offer. Due to open in late Spring 2021, Leopard Creek will feature three ways to stay: cosy two person cubs, stylish four person cabins and luxurious four person wigwams. As with all of the accommodation at Port Lympne, it promises breathtaking opulence and a lavish retreat away from the outside world.

Managing Director, Tony Kelly comments “We are delighted to introduce our Port Lympne Promise, enabling guests to book with complete confidence during these uncertain times. We cannot wait to welcome families, couples and adventurers from all around the UK to our 600-acre animal reserve later this year.”

A one-night stay starts from just £139 with the discount applied, and all profit from short breaks goes towards saving wild animals at risk and feeding those who call Port Lympne, and its sister venue Howletts Wild Animal Park, home.

Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve and their sister park Howletts are breeding sanctuaries for some of the world’s most endangered species. Where possible, animals born at the parks are released into protected areas of their natural habitat, as part of The Aspinall Foundation’s Back To The Wild program. Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve also work closely with The Aspinall Foundation who manages conservation projects in Congo, Gabon, Indonesia, Madagascar and Southern Africa, as well as providing financial support to various partner projects around the world. The conservation charity’s important work helps prevent some of the most endangered species on the planet from becoming extinct.
