SAME-DAY DENTISTRY IN THE DMD STUDENT CLINIC WELCOME to the start of a new email series, the Dean’s Brief, created with the intent of keeping the College of Dentistry’s various stakeholders better informed of the amazing progress we’re making on a number of fronts. Please look for the Dean’s Brief to arrive quarterly. More in-depth coverage will continue to be distributed via the college’s annual magazine, Perspectives, each fall. The theme for the Dean’s Brief this quarter is Care.
Upon being selected as one of five institutions to pilot the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) Digital Dentistry Curriculum (learn more at bit.ly/acppilot), the college invested the time and resources necessary to start preparing students to use digital solutions on the clinic floor. Following a recent ACP onsite visit, our efforts to embrace digital dentistry were validated as a number of program strengths were noted during the visit. We continue our efforts to thread digital dentistry throughout our DMD program and our clinics.
