Het leerwerkboek bestaat uit 6 units en 1 herhalingsunit op diddit.

Elke unit begint met een overzicht. Dat is de weg die jij tijdens de unit aflegt om de leerstof te verwerken.

Je start met Once upon a time. Daarin maak je kennis met Sam en Dario en hun vrienden en met het thema van de unit.

In Story time kom je meer over hen te weten. In dat deel leer je vooral luisteren en lezen. Zo krijg je de nieuwe leerstof aangebracht.

In Time to practise oefen je de leerstof in op jouw niveau. Afhankelijk van je resultaat ga je die herhalen (Time to catch up) of verdiepen (Time to get ahead). five

Jackfruit is a huge spiky fruit that has many small bulbs with yellow flesh inside the shell. When jackfruit is ripe, it tastes sweet; however, when it is unripe, it has no particular flavour. Its texture is quite similar to the consistency of real meat, and this makes jackfruit perfect for plant-based meat dishes like barbecued pulled pork.

Some of the common plant-based meats are made from pea or soy proteins; however, plant-based meat can also be made from jackfruit.

A lot of English-speaking countries are part of the Commonwealth. But what is this Commonwealth thing? Read the text. The Commonwealth of Nations (also known only as "Commonwealth") is a confederation of countries. There are 54 member countries of the Commonwealth. A few examples are: The United Kingdom, India, New Zealand and Jamaica.

These countries have come together to form an association with some common goals. Such common goals include: • to increase economic cooperation among the member countries; • to encourage democracy in the member countries; • to ensure that member countries follow human rights.

The Commonwealth of Nations is not a political organization. The King or Queen of England is not only the head of the Commonwealth, they are also head of state of 16 Commonwealth countries, for example Canada and Australia. However, the United Kingdom does not have any direct or indirect control over these countries. In fact, almost all the 54 members are independent countries with their own governments.

Discovering Eastbourne Breathe in the fresh sea air at the beautiful coastal town of Eastbourne. This place is famous for its landscapes, stunning beaches, historic pier and iconic chalk sea cliffs. Enjoy the coastal walk from the seaside town to the Beachy Head highest chalk cliffs in England. Beachy Head is a 3 mile walk from the town up to the headland. The sea offers a wide variety of activities. While the pebble beach isn’t comfortable for sunbathing, you can enjoy the sights of Eastbourne, or rent a kayak or a paddle board, an popular sport.
