Janneke Schotveld worked at a special needs school for over 12 years, but she is now a full-time writer. Janneke's books are always filled with humour and imagination. In 2012, she won the Prijs van de Nederlandse Kinderjury for Super Miss!. Milja Praagman is a successful illustrator and writer of children’s books. Her books have been translated in several countries. She has won numerous awards, including a Zilveren Penseel in 2017 and Prentenboek van het Jaar in 2013.

Production companies Walking The Dog (Belgium) and Submarine (The Netherlands) have developed a series of 52 animated cartoons, each about 10 minutes. The series is broadcasted in several European countries.
