Although she also wanted to become a fashion designer, archaeologist, conductor and actor, Tanneke Wigersma always knew she was going to write books. She wrote several reading and picture books for children. For her work she received a Vlag & Wimpel. Charlotte Dumortier works as a freelance illustrator. She makes illustrations for newspapers and magazines, and also designs posters for festivals and murals.
