Even though she wanted to be a fashion designer, archaeologist, conductor and actor when she grew up, Tanneke Wigersma somehow always knew that she was meant to be a writer. She has written several picture and children’s books. Hanneke Siemensma is a freelance illustrator and editor. She studied Dutch literature at the Universities of Amsterdam and Stockholm as well as visual arts at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in The Hague.
