BUILT FOR SUCCESS
BUILT FOR SUCCESS
“When I came to Iowa, I was really impressed with the variety of research that is done here, especially in my discipline, and also the specialized coursework available. I learned a lot and increased my skills during my PhD journey, and I am very happy that I was able to come through it without compromising my personal life and tending to my kids.
“Iowa Engineering is built to help students succeed. The support provided by Engineering Career Services and alumni helped me get an internship with Winnebago Industries in Iowa, a co-op with Collins Aerospace in New York, and an undergraduate research position in the Iowa Technology Institute.”
That was only possible with the strong support from my mentor, faculty, colleagues, and the overall Hawkeye community. I am now proud to call myself a Hawkeye grad!”
