Since 2006, liveWELL has been part of your health benefits, helping to create a healthier campus community. The Personal Health Assessment (PHA) is a confidential survey that takes 10 minutes and can be done on work time. Take your PHA to get connected to programs and tools that support your well-being.

liveWELL Health Coaches empower employees to make sustainable lifestyle changes that enhance their overall well-being.
Through one-on-one and group support, coaches work with employees to set personal goals, build on their strengths, and find practical ways to improve well-being.

ChildcareResources
Faculty, staff, and students can access UI and community resources for childcare, including back-up care. Each spring, a list of summer camps and programs at and nearby countries for school-aged children is available.
ElderCaregiving
UI Work-Life partners with LivWell Seniors to assist UI faculty and staff with elder caregiving. Receive personalized guidance on downsizing, relocation, legal resources, and more. Their team also provides in-home assessments to create tailored care plans.
CampusLactationRooms
UI Work-Life maintains over 80 campus lactation rooms, including locations at UI Health Care. Several are equipped with Medela breast pumps.
FinancialWell-Being
Employees can access resources on housing, budgeting, credit, debt, savings, and student loan repayment through Family Services' partnerships with financial wellness programs.

Short-Term Counseling
UI EAP offers short-term counseling to children, teens and adults as well as couples counseling. Common areas of focus are depression/ anxiety, relationships, job stress, substance use, grief counseling, and sleep.
Substance Abuse Resources
The UI EAP utilizes a comprehensive approach to educate and intervene with persons who have substance abuse concerns.
Suicide Prevention Training
Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) is a suicide-prevention training designed to educate people from all walks of life how to recognize the warning signs of suicide.
UI Emergency Hardship Fund
The UI Emergency Hardship Fund assists eligible faculty and staff with costs of up to $1000 related to an unforeseen emergency event or crisis, resulting in a financial hardship.
UI Support and Crisis Line
Support is available 24/7 through text, chat or phone service for all UI students, faculty, staff, post docs and medical residents. Provided in partnership with CommUnity Crisis Services and is available all day, everyday.
