The ECHO Idaho Newsletter
This summer, ECHO Idaho has been making waves. We wrapped up our Perinatal Substance Use Disorder series in July. Before that, in June, we hosted a summer send-off of our COVID-19 series in June with special guest Dr. Christine Hahn. As we gear up for fall, we’re pleased to announce that this series will be returning to our schedule, beginning August 24. Register now if you haven’t already and keep a lookout for the revamped series webpage, up later this week. Looking forward, we’re thrilled to announce a brand new series anticipated to launch in January 2022, Pediatric Autism! Details are in the works, but registering for the series today means you’ll receive more information about it later. Why wait?! The next iteration of our free virtual X-Waiver Training takes place Monday, September 20. Details on how you can claim $3,000 for your FQHC or RHC by earning an x-waiver are down below. What else is new? Our CE/CME-eligible podcast, Something for the Pain, has six episodes out and four more coming. Please subscribe with your preferred app by visiting
our website and clicking the subscribe button. Or you can find it wherever you get your podcasts. Rate the show and recommend to anyone in your circle working with patients with opioid use disorder. Finally, a big congratulations to ECHO staff that have earned promotions: Katy Palmer is now Assistant Director and Karley Kline has stepped into the role of Program Manager. We’ve also brought on the very talented Lynsey Winters Juel as a second Program Manager. Learn more about her in this newsletter. Best,
Lachelle Smith Director, ECHO Idaho
