Mission, Vision, Values, Goals Document Implementation These four things: Mission, Vision, Values and Goals will all work together to push you forward with momentum though your undergraduate career and professional career. Let's talk about what these can look like and brainstorm some of your own to give shape to what these next few years will look like!

Mission Your mission is similar to a companies mission statement. What are you hoping to strive towards as a student and as a professional? An example of this can be: Maintain good grades, while pursuing extracurricular activities that support my major and boost my resume. Continuing to connect with peers and have a healthy school and social life balance.

Vision Your vision is similar to your mission but in a more applicable sense. How do you see yourself pursuing and supporting this mission? An example of this can be: I see myself spending Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm dedicated to being on campus, attending classes, working on homework and projects, and leaving my weekends and evenings free for social time and clubs.

Values What do you value as a person? As a student? Some people value quiet time to unwind and relax. Some may value physical activity to help destress. These values should outline what is important to you and what you will need to keep yourself going through the busy times as a student.

Goals These are typically straightforward and achievement oriented. Do you want to nail a summer internship before the start of your junior year? Do you want to increase your vocabulary in the field you're in? Do you want to have perfect or near-perfect attendance?

These goals can refer to you as a student or you can think more long-term and picture what type of career you are aiming to have.

Overview Let's put these into writing!
