Accelerated graduate

degrees

University of Idaho offers accelerated programs like the 3+3 Law option, where students start law school in their fourth undergraduate year. The 4+1 master’s program lets Idaho residents earn a non-thesis master’s degree in one year, with shared credits, simplified admission, and undergraduate tuition rates during the first graduate year. Other accelerated graduate degree programs available for degrees including architecture, athletic training, dietetics and more.

If you’re a transfer student with more than 14 transferable semester credits, your admission eligibility is contingent on a 2.0 GPA from all college-level study attempted at accredited colleges. Some courses excluded. Other academic departments may have additional requirements.

As a first-year or transfer student from Idaho with a strong GPA, you may qualify for our Go Idaho! program, meaning you’ll receive a guaranteed amount of funding through a combination of U of I scholarships.

Find your scholarship option below! All U of I scholarship programs are renewable for four years if a minimum U of I GPA of 2.5 is maintained. Scholarship levels are based on unweighted GPA.
