LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

little scared to begin this new chapter of my life, but I was also excited for everything that came with starting college.

I walked a lot (I hope you wore comfrtable shoes) and sat through hours of orientation programs, but those first two days I spent on this campus were an incredible introduction to what my life would be like at the University of Houston.

It's safe to say that this university has not disappointed.

Take full advantage of what this campus has to offer. Get involved in any and all the student organizations that interest you. You get what you put into college, and the payout is always worth it.

I have had amazing opportunities and experiences here, and I made life-long friends. With time, you will get there, too, and I extremely excited to see what you all accomplish during your time here.

I urge you all to take as much in as you can. Four years sounds like a long time, but I promise that you'll be walking across the stage at your commencement ceremony before you know it.
