With five galleries on and off campus, students have professional development opportunities to learn how cultural spaces create connections, dialogue, and change. Students can gain experiences in all aspects of running and exhibiting in gallery spaces, from curation and installation of artwork, to critical writing and catalog preparation.

A GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE The School of Art + Art History hosts robust Visiting Artists and Scholars programs, delivers a global art history curriculum, and offers extensive and changing domestic and international travel, as well as and study abroad opportunities.

Students have the opportunity to research in the field alongside our preeminent faculty.
