Poezijaiumetnostsuoddavninabiliglasovinečujnih,odjecibola, otpornostiinade.Uovom15.izdanjufestivalaWomanScream,ponovo podižemosvojglasovajputzaonenajranjivijemeđunama:decu.Nije igranijesamotema;tojepozivnabuđenjesavesti,zahtevzaakcijom protivteškenepravdeidečjihbrakovatekršenjadečjihprava.

Krozstihove,bojeioblike,umetniciipesniciizcelogsvetaudružuju snagedaosvetletihupatnjubezbrojnihmladihduša.Oninaspodsećaju dadetinjstvonijeugovor,nititeretkojisemožeprodati.Tojesveto vremesnova,otkrićaineograničenogpotencijalavremekojenikadane bismelobitiukradeno.

PRIČAIZPRVERUKE

Čuvalasamromskudjecu,četvoropredivnihuBeču,četvoropredivnihanđela, različitihdobi,tridjevojčiceijednogdječakačijisuroditelji,djedoviibake „gastarbajteri”izovihkrajeva.Posaomijebioneophodnopotreban,zbogpoznatih događanjaprilikomraspadaJugoslavijeimogpreseljenjaizHrvatskeuSrbiju Došlasamunevjerojatnobogatukuću,imalisusveosimpažnjeiljubavi.Njihovi roditelji,bakeidjedovibilisuterenskizaposlenici,vankućemjesecima.

Upočetkusamosjetilavelikonepovjerenjedječice,kojesemalopomalo„topilo”. Brzosmouspostavilipovjerenje.Voljelisukadabihimpričalapriče,čitala, ohrabrivalaihdaseotvore.Dobnarazlika,najstarijegdjeteta,manjaodpetnaest (15)godina.

Djevojčiceseškolujudočetvrtograzredaosnovneškole,dokdječaciimajupravo završitisvihosam,poželji.Zaistasamihdobroupoznalazavrijemekojesam provelasnjima.Znalasamuštoseupuštam,dobilasaminstrukcijenjihovebake, mladeženekojajedjelovalakaonekokogaseimaslušatibezpogovora.

Dugjepopisonogaštodjevojčicenesmiju,ajednaodstrogihzabranajevožnja biciklomJednevečeriprogovoriSandra,tadadevetogodišnjedijete,ougovorenim brakovima.Bilajezrelazasvojudob.Ispričalajekakoimaodabranogmuža,ado ulaskaubrakčekajujejošnekečetirigodine.

Shirley Smothers is a Texas-based amateur poet who has been writing for over a decade. Nagla Ali Hassan is an Egyptian-Iraqi visual artist based in the United Arab Emirates, specializing in Japanese Patchwork art—a unique threedimensional sculpture technique using compressed cardboard covered with fabric. In addition to her expertise in this art form, she is skilled in painting, sculpture, leather engraving, wood burning, and various handcrafts. She is also a fashion designer for traditional and theatrical clothing, a poet, and a journalist for Zohwa magazine. Her artistic journey includes solo exhibitions in the UAE, Egypt, and Tunisia from 2020 to 2025, as well as participation in 320 group exhibitions across Egypt, Iraq, the UAE, Tunisia, Jordan, Serbia, Turkey, Germany, Morocco, and Spain. With a deep commitment to social impact, she strives to spread the culture of beauty in society, empower women who have faced violence by teaching them handicrafts for small business ventures, and integrate people with disabilities into society through art. Tanja Ajtić was born in Belgrade. Since 2002, she has lived and created in Canada. In the summer of 2023, she returned to Belgrade. She is a member of numerous literary groups, including the Belgrade Writers' Society. Her poems and stories have been published in over two hundred collections, anthologies, e-books, and magazines. Her poetry has been translated into eleven world languages. In 2018, she published a poetry book titled Contours of Love. She has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Città Del Galateo – Antonio De Ferrariis (Rome, Italy, 2022) and the 2023 literary award from the Naji Naaman Foundation in Lebanon. Dr. Ali Lazem Al-Gharawi is an Iraqi academic artist who holds a PhD in the philosophy of art. The artist embodied the Iraqi and Egyptian civilizations in many of his paintings, with the addition of some ancient Sumerian writings to his paintings.
