DUE OCTOBER 19, 2025
Welcome to the fifth edition of the Stamped for Success Female Sale. As always sale season is busy with the hustle and bustle of getting these females ready for you to come see, but really this set of females has taken about three years to put together, when you take into account the time making breeding decisions and breeding cows, calving season and everything that has gone into them since. If you ask anyone in this business, they will tell you progress is slow, but when done right, oh so worth it. This year’s set of sale heifers proves just how worth it the time spent has been. They come from some old tried and true matings, as well as a lot of cows on just their first or second season. This set shows the direction we are trying to take our operation and we could not be more proud for you to come see them.
One of the best parts of this business is the customers and getting to work with families for years and see what these “show projects” turn into when they’re put into production. This is a set that includes several females out of past Stamped for Success sale features, whether it be out of retained flushes or customers entrusting us with marketing the cattle they’ve raised out of the females purchased here. We have a couple heifers consigned by some of our good friends this year and are thankful as ever that they have put that trust in us. While its always nice to go to the show and stand at the backdrop, this is what really makes this business come full circle. We believe in the set of females selling here, You will find not only elite show heifers, but donor prospects that work in your operation when you take them home.

With that said, our biggest accomplishment this year of course has nothing to do with winning shows or selling cattle. We added a new show barn manager to the team in June and she has kept us all in line since. As long as you show up before bed time, miss Charlie would love to show you what she and her dad have put together this fall.
As always, we’re thankful you’ve read this far and hope you enjoy the cattle as much as we do. We can’t thank everyone enough for taking time out of their busy schedules to see what we have to offer.

When we put these eggs in, this heifer was the goal we had in mind. This heifer has had us excited since the day she was born She’s the kind that makes checking cows fun. The sisters to Lot 1 have written their own page in Angus history with all of the shows they’ve won and the banners they’ve collected. KDJ Queen Ruth 502 daughters have stood at backdrops across the nation, but the best part is what those females have gone out and done in production after their show career is over. Make the trip to Frederick to come see not only an incredible show heifer, but a young donor cow in the making. Bid early, bid often, you’ll be glad you did. She’s hard to part with, but we made a commitment to offering our very best this year. Come see for yourself.

UDE Blackbird 2202 sold on the Stamped for Success in 2022 to our good buddy Nolan Hunt. We retained an interest and this heifer is the perfect example of why we did. She is long necked, long bodied, good haired and good on her feet and legs. 8N is the first Angus daughter we’ve had from our 2202 donor, but this cow family has produced champions on every level. A full sister to 2202, UDE Blackbird 0153, did a whole lot of winning for the Ferree family of Indiana just a few years ago. She’s kid broke with purple in her pedigree and she just might be what you’re looking for.

BRTN Phyllis 119N is about as exciting an Angus show heifer prospect as we have ever produced here. There really isn’t much to say that her picture and video won’t say for us. Her mother was a many time champion for the Paulsen family, and this one reminds us so much of her as a baby. The genetics here are about as consistent as they come and when you look at her on the hoof, she sure is exciting. This is one that truly gets better everyday and we can’t wait to see where she ends up. Come see her for yourself.
ANGUS
Our good buddy Dexter Matlock sent us this female to sell and we’re oh so glad he did. Lot 4 is a big footed, stout constructed, rugged built female thats also so elevated about her front one third and eye catching from the side. Last year the Hess family from Texas showed a maternal sister to this female to a whole lot of success in the Texas Limousin ring. These We The People daughters just get better with age and we’re sure this one will too. She’s first year showman gentle and ready to hit the show road!

Lot 5 is the first female to be offered out of our resident herd sire, COBN Look At Me L06. Look at Me was not paraded through the show ring, instead he got put straight to work and has done a tremendous job here so far. Look for another daughter in Lot 7. 17N is functional with enough substance to be a fun show project and turn around and be productive when she’s put to pasture. This is another female offered with our buddy Dexter Matlock out of a past Stamped for Success purchase. She is young showman approved and ready for her new home.

The sky is the limit with this future donor cow! This is one we’d like to keep in our own replacement pen, but decided we were going to offer everything this year. You’ll want to study hard on this one. This Crown Royal daughter has the same unique build and structure as those nationally competitive Limousin females we’ve brought you before. She is bold and round through her center body and massive from hooks to pins. 33N is the kind you can build a program around. TASF CROWN ROYAL 960C ET

We’ve never really offered one like Lot 7. This female is so unique in the way that she is put together. She is long necked, cute headed and proud in her appearance, yet so bold ribbed and soft from her fore-rib to flank. 24N has the running gear to make it all the way to the finish line. I could go on and on about this heifer, but the quality speaks for itself. This is the kind of female that gets us excited about the future of this young donor and our herd sire COBN Look At Me L06 as well. Look closely here.

This heifer has been one of the most fun to watch since she was born. She’s one of those females that catches your eye quickly and challenges you to just try to pick a hole in her, because there aren’t many. Our family has agreed that this is one of the best heifers we have raised to date, and she’s only getting better. Her mother was Third Overall at the 2024 Limousin Junior National Show and Congress and has already proven herself a worthy cow prospect with this heifer. This one has the pedigree and build to make for a very special show heifer and cow. I’m confident she will be both. - Corbin Robbins
SHES MIGHTY 31N AMAA: PENDING • 04.7.2025 • Tattoo: 31N • MAINETAINER
The lone Maine influenced female of the offering is a standout. She is big haired, big hipped, big legged, and sound as a cat with a killer look. This one could be a lot of fun to haul all over the country. These All Mighty sired cattle are flat good and you’ll see him used more and more here at Barton Cattle. Parade this one through the ring and then breed her to make high Maines or steers. The choice is yours.

Good Beef. Thats the easiest and best way to describe these full sisters. This is a pair of big footed, dense made females that are smooth from the side and as flexible and sound as you can make them. Whether you’re wanting that extra show ring look in the lot 10 or the added shape and power in lot 11 there is something here for everyone. If you showed in Texas in 2022 you remember 13CC Pride 245 winning San Antonio, Houston and Austin. They are backed be one of the most proven John Wick sons, Nio Prestige 0130. Ladies and gentlemen, sit back and hold on tight, because from the tan bark to the donor pen, these sisters are going to be wild ride no matter which you choose! - Nolan Hunt.

When we bought these eggs we had a donor cow in mind, and we got one. If you’ve spent any time around the Simmental show ring in recent years you’ve heard of her big sister KDP Miss Hoya Hayleigh! Hayleigh won the triple crown in 2020-2021. A couple years after that her daughter won Kansas City and Louisville. This is a genetic opportunity that you don’t want to miss out on. Not only is she the full genetic package, she’s the real deal on the hoof too, with a perfect baldy face to boot. Come see her for yourself.

I could tell you how much I really love this heifer, but I don’t think there is enough room in this catalog. Her story started tough when she was orphaned, but from a very young age I’ve thought this could be the best heifer we had born this year. She has a great build and an awesome set of feet and legs. She’s high headed, big statured and has one of the sweetest attitudes in the sale. She’s getting better by the day and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Don’t miss out on an exciting opportunity here.

Lot 14 is one of those heifers that you like every time you look at her. She has been consistent since the day she hit the ground. It doesn’t matter, rain or shine, this one just does not have a bad day. She’s just got the right pieces. As much as we like her in person, she’s got the genetics to back it up too. Sisters to 241K have won on some of the biggest stages, most recently capped off with Kinnick Paulsen’s reserve supreme female at the 2024 Iowa State Fair. We’ve said all along, if Charlie was a few years older that this would be the one she would show. Lucky for you she won’t be ready for a few years.

28B has consistently put high quality females in this sale for a long time and she has truly outdone herself this round. 37N is stout featured, big bodied, big hipped and hairy! The purebred Simmentals this one can make will be next level but before that she has the look and build to get to the backdrop at any level. Get in on an awesome cow family and great show project in this sweet little heifer!
