Ruth M. Cunningham For twenty-five years, University of Dallas students have been greeted by the cheerful smile and exquisite kindness of Ruth M. Cunningham.

As Circulation Librarian, Mrs. Cunningham's unfailing care and patience have been a sign to all of the generous and helpful philosophy of the University library staff.

Through book check-out and return, library clearances and book reserves, Mrs. Cunningham has continued to serve as a model of calm optimism and nurturing guidance for the University community.

Lyle F. Novinski When he came to the University from the University of Wisconsin, where he earned his M.A. and M.F.A., the Art Department was located in one room in Carpenter Hall. Under his direction since 1965, the Art Department has grown to become an integral and formative part of the University and one of the most significant art departments in the region. Painter, art historian, designer, landscape artist-there is little in the life of the University that has not been touched by the intense dedication and talents of Professor Novinski. A popular teacher in Irving and Rome, he is well-known in the region as lecturer, painter, critic, juror, and liturgical artist.
