Project Description This Civic center project was located in Bangkok, Thailand in the Makkasan area nearby the Airport rail link Makkasan station with the site area 150 x 150 meters and GFA as 18,900 Civic center was designed to improve the quality of life of people in and outside area.

USER AND PROGRAM ANALYSIS The user of civic center is a people in the area with a various occupation included of children until elderly. The programming in this building is provided to make the easier access for everyone and we bring the program that is private type into the close area and the public program into the main corner of the building for easier access.

CONCEPTUAL MODEL
We combine this three models and bring the main element is the terms of curving and spacing, due to the agreement of making the middle part as the main part of the site to gather people in the program provider or making the circulation on the middle as can be pass through each program in a different level. SITE PLAN
We provided the main courtyard to facing the main access and our landscape is design follow to the pathway that lead the user walk through our site.
The civic plaza is loacted in the middle of our building their are the main part of outdoor area in the project and the pedestrian pathway we created is can access to their area in all direction.
The car circulation is bring the car user follow to the building into the back side that is the parking both of outdoor and indoor parking.

The groundfloor can entrance from a various ways. We provided the connection path such as elevator, escalator and staicase to near the building entrance.
The programming in this area is the main as public area such as Retail area and BMA service zone is the area that can connected to each area. And we bring the Daycare area into the north side that created more privacy for children.

Elevation
Glass Fiber with Reinforced Concrete Polyester is used to construct the roof and walls. It’s a sun and rain resistant material. A tempered glass panel protects the void and curvature from direct sunlight. It maintains its flexibility even at high temperatures and does not absorb heat. Also, due to the program within, the curve allowing the light in the amount. The form serves as an entrance at the curve’s ends. The arc surrounds the main section as the courtyard, allowing for visibility from every floor and circulation connectivity.

COLUMN AND BEAM (FOR BASEMENT STRUCTURE)
Structural This building structural system used the post-tension as the main the floor structure, two-way waffle slab system. The roof uses a shell structure. Truss beam and column are used most on underground floor and columns arranged by room to help support waffle structure. The loadbearing wall transfers from the building to the curve wall that attracts the ground and the foundation, helping the structure’s stability.
