Careers Service Guide/ Handbook Advertising Advertise in our sleek annual publication, the Careers Service Guide. With 5000 copies distributed and available for download, the Guide is a great way to advertise your recruitment campaign. Published in May, the deadline for bookings is 20 March 2020. Email Blasts

Notify students of your current opportunities with a targeted email blast. You get to choose your target audience according to their academic profile and can tailor your communication to them.

Come and talk to UCT students about jobs in your organisation either in person or by video conference. These 45-minute sessions are hosted in easily accessible lecture theatres on campus at lunch time or after class in the afternoon.

Virtual Presentation – R 1 500 Campus Presentation – R 2 400

Send an update or remind students about your opportunities and events via SMS. You can specify the target audience according to their degrees and academic levels. Text must be <160 characters.

Presentations

Poster Campaign Spread the word with a poster campaign across UCT upper campus and other key UCT buildings and campuses. Supply us with A3 posters and we’ll do the rest.

Company Showcases Spend the day on campus interacting with students and creating awareness around your brand and the career opportunities you have on offer. The ideal time of the day is between 10am and 3pm. There is an additional fee involved if you want your company showcase to take place on Plaza.

Web Advertising

Promote your vacancies with a digital package. This includes, prime advertising space on our Careers Service website homepage and 2 ad placements on our popular Careers portal for a month. Fee: R 4 500

Interview & Assessment Venues

The Careers Service offers six interview rooms ideal for one-onone interviews, as well as a fully equipped virtual room for Skype or telephonic interviews, and a large assessment venue that can accommodate up to 30 Pax* Operating hours: 08h30 to 16h30.

Interview Rooms:

Full day: R 1 000 (8 hours) Half day: R 550 (4 hours)

Assessment Venue:

This expo is aimed at students from all disciplines interested in internship opportunities in South Africa and abroad.

The event offers companies the opportunity to make contact with students early in the year and to raise awareness about the internships on offer.

The UCT Faculty of Law is rated among the Top 100 Law Schools in the world and attracts excellent students from diverse backgrounds.

The Law Expo is held at the home of UCT’s Law Faculty in Kramer Building.

A sector-specific event for those studying towards Accounting related degrees, this event exposes students to the big names in the accounting industry and allows recruiters to source top talent for their companies.
