Over the past four years, R’Gear has been a tense and divisive topic on campus. This year, $35,000 of student money may be spent on 4,040 UCR-themed sweatshirts to be distributed to some freshmen if a veto on the project is overturned. A few ASUCR senators and students have raised other issues at UCR where this money could be better spent. So we’re curious, what would you spend $35,000 on?
