NGLA 2007 in Pittsburgh: February 22-24 Ten students from UConn attended the Northeast Greek Leadership Association conference in Pittsburgh this year. Representing Panhellenic council were Meghan Burns, Evynne Graveline, Kristina Jorge and Teresa Phillips. From the Multicultural Greek council were Ellen Pereira and Victoria Thai. Representing the Interfraternity Council were Jon Ficara, Sal Manoochehri, Rohan Desai and Max Chanoch. Todd C. Sullivan and Lauren Elliott facilitated workshops at the conference and Jessica Smestad was on the conference staff.

Apply for the Emerging Leaders program! The Emerging Leaders program, run by Order of Omega, is now accepting applications for Fall 2007! Nominate a peer for Greek of the Month! Greek of the Month is a peer recognition given to members of the Fraternity & Sorority Community who demonstrate outstanding leadership, service, academic accomplishment and brotherhood/ sisterhood. This individual is a person of good moral character who upholds the values of the fraternal community and the University. Nominations for Greek of the Month are due by the 15th of each month and should be submitted to Jessica Smestad at student0348@ad.uconn.edu.
