Presidents’ Forum
HuskyTHON is an 18-hour dance marathon coordinated by students from the University of Connecticut and the Children’s Miracle Network. The HuskyTHON staff is looking forward to this year’s event in January. HuskyTHON is a fundraising event to raise money and support for the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. HuskyTHON began six years ago and has been a success ever since. It is a completely student run organization and has raised over $100,000.00 to help sick children at the hospital. HuskyTHON is an important event at the University of Connecticut, as it gives us a chance to help out those who are less fortunate and give back to the community. “The HuskyTHON has been successful in the past and we only hope to make it bigger and better,” Louis Perrone, external director.
